Footpump
Effective but you need strong leg muscles!Good value

Useless footpump.
The screen cannot be readduring the day as the white letters are not clear and therfore the very expensive foot pump which is new is totally useless. I will purchase a cheaper. One as soon as possible. I feel let down by this obvious fault.

A Reluctant LCD Display and Very Stiff Battery Tray Let Down an Otherwise Quality Product
This tyre pump is well-designed and robust. The double barrel design makes it wide enough to use without giving way under your foot, as tyre pumps always used to. The tread has a good grip. The hose screws securely to the tyre valve. The device is robust. The instructions are available online as a PDF.Unfortunately, when I came to use this on cold tyres over the weekend, the LCD screen barely worked. Without a legible gauge, the device is a liability. The one tyre I tried it on appears still to be safe, nonetheless.I checked the batteries with a meter. They were both in good condition and had been correctly inserted. However, it was very difficult to open the battery tray and even more difficult to close it again. It was just too stiff. After many attempts to get the gauge screen to light up, I gave up. I went through Amazon’s “get product support” link and emailed Michelin on Sunday evening. They replied on Monday evening to say I should contact a different department. Not to be defeated, I held down the reset button for about 5 seconds. It works now. It is bright enough to read indoors. I will make another attempt to use it soon.Nowhere in the instructions does it say to hold the reset button down for any length of time. I do not know what inspired me to try that.I am fairly confident that it will work well, when I try it next weekend.

These go to 100
It really does go to 100psi - you need your full body weight but that’s why you buy a floor/foot pump

No Confidence It Isn't Faulty
.Bought to replace an older Michelin pump I've had for about 20 yearsWhen this arrived today I hooked it up to a bike tyre straight away.Tried to press down on the pump with my foot but the pump was VERY stiff... then suddenly it started moving easier. I thought it was working ok but it was doing nothing. In fact, worse, I could hear a hissing and the gauge was showing the pressure going down! I suspected the connection to the tyre valve but no, it was coming from one of the 2 cylinders on the pump. And the tyre totally deflated.I boxed it up to send it back as faulty. But before I sent it, still in disbelief at what had happened, I thought I'd just try it again. And it worked fine. Tried on both by bikes, motorbike and car and it's been fine ever since. Now it's working, the gauge seems relatively accurate and it seems put a lot of air in on each pump which is great.Found it best to put an extra bit of pressure in the tyres as you get a bit of leakage while unscrewing the poump from the tyre afterwardsAll good, but due to what happened at first, confidence is low!
