I did not for a moment believe that the light was as bright as claimed, and it isn't. It is easily outshined by a real 2000 lumen light. However, it is plenty bright enough for my purposes. It is in fact, everything I wanted in a light and at a price I could easily afford.In the past I have been dissapointed with headlights that leaked light down, disrupting my ability to see clearly. This one leaks very faintly from the side lights but not enough to irritate me substantially. Still, this is an idiotic design flaw, a product of indifference or sheer laziness from the designers that should not be happening at this, or any price point, EVER.I wanted the biggest lithium-ion battery available and I wanted it front mounted since I know from past experience that the cords going to a rear mounted battery are prone to breakage and thus less reliable. So I got exactly what I wanted with this light but there is a price to be paid. The light is heavey and not especially comfortable with all the weight forward. I'm not complaining though as this is a trade off I wanted to make.I'm happy with the functionality of the USB-C charge port and how well it is sealed when not needed. The light at the port turns red when plugged in and green when charging is complete (a fact not mentioned in the instructions).I also like that there are two buttons, one of which is a dedicated full bright on/off button and a second for when I want to cycle through different modes.Overall I am very pleased with this light.

Most of this isn't bad. The build quality is OK with a few exceptions. The clip is super weak. There are no O-rings on the side with the charging port, so this is very not water resistant. The headstrap is well done. The side lights provide a wall of floody light. The main light throws pretty well. If you turn both on, it is an impressive amount of light. The tint isn't bad. But the overwhelming thing that kills this for me is the lack of modes. The 5 modes are all variations of High. High Throw. High Flood. High Throw plus Flood. High Strobe. The one non-High mode is still too much light for a lot of applications. This isn't bad, but it could have been done much better.

This product provided the light I needed to work on my cars and dark areas without an issue. I would have given it a higher rating but after 9 months of ownership the battery will not charge at all. The indicator light is not lit. I tried getting assistance from the manufacturer, Windfire, for warranty service but the email bounced back. From the looks of it. Windfire email server refused connection which usually means that the email server is not running. Just a cautionary note for everyone.

The headlamp is a very good quality product; there are five settings for power of the dual lamp. The lamp at maximum 1200 lumens really lights up the night. I bought two of these headlamps, so I keep them in locations I need them at night. I don't use a flashlight anymore. This headlamp is all I need. Great for outdoor activities at night. They are lightweight, you can wear them for hours and not even know they are on your head. If you need to read directions at night just aim the headlamp downward, you do not need to bend your head downward.

It was bought for a gift so I'm assuming it works well. It's packaged in a plain box without manufacturing info.

It's good to use

Abit heavy. But last a long time. Quick access to the brightest setting is a huge plus for me.

I was surprised by how well-built this actually was for the price. Longevity TBD, but at first pass its perfect for a glovebox, which was its destiny in my case.
