Does the job
I bought this to recharge the battery I have for my FIOS installation. It extends the life of my FIOS battery. I bought a ExpertPower 12V rechargeable battery in March 2018 to replace the previous one that had died. At the same time I bought this charger. In April 2019 the FIOS box in the garage started that annoying chirp, which drives one of my dogs crazy btw. So I pulled out the battery and pressed the button to silence the chirp. I connected the battery to the charger and let it charge for 24 hours. That was about 2 weeks ago. The garage is silent, the dog is calm and my wife is happy. This was my first time to use this charger. I will update the review when the FIOS starts chirping next to report how long the charge lasted and how effective the second recharge is. I paid $19.99 for the battery and $8.86 for the charger so Iโm about $10 ahead so far. UPDATE: October 2019 the beep came back. So I got about 6 months out of the charge. Pulled the batter and put it back on the charge for about 24 hours. Put the battery back in. No beep. SECOND UPDATE: The second charge only lasted two months. I put the battery on the charger overnight and put it back in the FIOS box and everything is working fine but I think it is time to replace the battery. My conclusion is that I spent less than $9 to extend the life of my battery by about a year. The fact that the charge hasn't lasted longer could be on the battery or it could be on the charger. Either way, I feel like the charge is paying for itself and that's the reason I bought it.

Charges my Omnibot
I purchased an Omnibot robot that didn't come with the charger...or battery. I purchased a battery but had no way to charge it, until I found this. It charges my robot's batteries at night so that he can function during the day. It works really well and truth be told, charges the robot battery fairly quickly. It's not just for the Omnibot battery, it can be used in an array of other things as well.

Works as Claimed. Good value.
Purchased one of these, tried it, liked it and so I ordered another. Excellent price and it seems to do the job. I charged my emregency generator battery (12V) overnight and the next day the generator started quickly. I also used it to charge a small 6V battery used in an emergency light. I like being able to switch between 6V and 12V. At this price point, you don't get multi-stage charging. And you don't get convenience items such as an LED indicator of charging status. You just plug it in and let it run overnight without worrying about overcharging. Follow-up: I found a mega battery that I had purchased and forgotten. It was a 12v, so I used the charger on it. It actually took over 2 days to get a full charge, but it worked. I attached a 400W inverter to the battery and was able to run a lamp (15 - 20 watts) for several hours.

Simple, did the trick
I have an autozone battery booster with an integrated charge circuit, the unit stopped taking a charge so i bought a new battery, still wouldnt charge past mid-range, not enough to jump my '96 suburban in 30ยฐ weather, not good Got this little guy and hooked it up (basically just clipped it to the battery terminal clamps, since the internal circuitry on the booster makes that a direct connection to the battery) now it charges fully and shows a green light works great and im happy with it

No indicator of charge status while charging -
It charges the battery, but has NO INDICATOR OF CHARGE COMPLETION. Directions say to frequently check battery with a voltage meter and to immediately remove charger once charging is complete - not comfortable with using a charger that might fry my battery! Considering return.....

Champagne appetite on beer budget..
Having this charger for over 2 years and have charged my 3 Fios 12v batts numerous times over the years, I recommend this charger as it has met my needs. No, you can't charge a car/motorcycle batt. with it, cause it's not strong enough. You need to spend more to meet that need. This $10 charger is a device used to put energy into a secondary cell or rechargeable battery by forcing an electrical current through it. Yes, it has no indicator to signal a fully charged battery. You will find that on more expensive models. Charging overnight works for me. I have saved much money but not having to buy replacement batteries each time one goes "dead". I purposely choose this one for he price as most people have.

Saved me from Verizon Fios Beeping!
I'm so glad that I purchased this!!! I have Verizon Fios in my house and the battery died in the Verizon unit downstairs. The beeping is so annoying and can be heard throughout the house. I had replaced the battery like two years ago and it just recently died. I was preparing to purchase another battery then realized the battery I bought on Amazon was rechargeable. The battery I have is ExpertPower 12V 7 Amp EXP1270 Rechargeable Lead Acid Battery. I used this charger to recharge the battery on a standard outlet overnight and a few hours the next day so maybe a total of 12 hours. I didn't have anything to test how much juice my battery had after I charged it. I put the battery back into the Verizon Fios unit and the beeping stopped! Thank goodness! I've been beep free for about 5 days so far!

no problems
I used this item to charge a 7 amp hour 12 volt sealed lead acid battery and let it charge for 14 hours ( I used a charge time calculator app for Android). The battery was definitely charged and I tested it by hooking it up to a 400 watt digital power inverter and ran a tabletop fan with it for a while. I recommend this if you are looking for a simple charger for a low price.
