Excellent quality and creative game play - a true winner!
This is a game our family has loved for years, and after always borrowing it from friends, we finally decided we need our own copy. There are game play levels for beginning, intermediate, and expert, which is EXCELLENT, because it gives me (a very beginning bird watcher) a fighting chance against our kiddos, as even the five-year-old knows more details about most birds than I do, in large part from playing this game with his siblings. Both the box and cards are sturdy and hold up to game play over the course of years. One of the best bird games out there, without a doubt!

Great for birders
I gave these as gifts to a couple of birders and they had a blast playing with it. Theyโre really well made. Definitely a learning tool too.

The most fun game if you're a bird nerd.
It's incredibly simple. No board or anything to set up, you just take turns reading clues off a card to get people to guess the species. The hardest ones of course are the cards for species you didn't know existed, but now you do! There are enough cards at each level that there's replayability. The more obscure species usually have a final clue that at least try to lead you toward the name, which makes the game feel accessible. If I had one gripe about it, I'd say that the contrast and brightness on the images are way off. Everything is a little darker than you would expect.

ITEM ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND IS VERY INTERESTING. IT IS A LITTLE MORE COMPLICATED THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BUT IS VERY INFORMATIVE. DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE FOR A BIRD LOVER.

Birders will enjoy this game
My husband loves birds. He does not enjoy games. I finally found a game that caught his interest. Iโm not sure if he will use it as a game, or if he will just use it to practice his knowledge about birds. Regardless, the game presents great facts about 300 birds. Any birder would enjoy it.

Great learning tool
The more games you play with this set the better you will become at identifying the birds in your region. Great game.

My kids love this!
My 6, 9, and 11 year old boys are self proclaimed bird nerds. While we've never actually played the game per the instructions, these trivia cards have been easy to put in a bag for a trip or while we venture out. The game says age 14 plus, there are various levels for the cards. My youngest does great with the beginner cards. The older two are comfortable in the intermediate deck and are pushing themselves with the more advanced deck. They make their own games and trivia competitions with the sets of cards which include a picture and clues of the bird. They often start with just the clues and then share the picture if needed.
