Great computer that fits what I needed just right
If you want a great little computer with a powerful operating system, this one is for you. I am a webmaster and a programmer. I was looking for a very portable computer that would be powerful and not give problems like the one Win10 computer that I have. I also needed just a bit more functionality than my Chromebooks would give me. I am used to Linux but with Linux Mint you don't need to be. The operating system is very easy to use and quite powerful. This computer is a marvel to use and of course was easy to set up. There is only 1 gripe that I have, the small shift key on the right hand side. May I suggest that the key arrangement over there get thought out a bit more. Other than that this computer is perfect in most every way.

Good personal use laptop short life
Update Nov 19 2019:Fast and reliable. I use it to do all my little things (social media, shopping, internet browsing). It all works great. No complaints from a not tech expert level. No longer working after a period of inactivity. Won’t charge at all, going to check the battery, and the charging cable before I scrap it.

Excellent laptop for the price
The build quality of the shell is much higher than I've seen on any other laptop in this price range. The entire body of the laptop is aluminum, with a glossy glass layer over the screen, so very similar materials to a MacBook. It is noticeably thicker and heavier than recent Apple laptops, but not enough for either to be a con by itself. The actual components seem a little more fitting of the price. The screen is crisp, but seems a little less vibrant when the brightness is low. The keyboard keys have good travel, but feel a little mushy. When I first started using it, the spacebar would stick when pressed dead-center (that resolved itself quickly though). It is a little cramped, especially compared to a 14-15". They keyboard is usable but will take some adjusting to, especially for special character keys or the directional arrows. The speakers are definitely a low point. They're pretty tinny, especially with the volume up. The USB ports are weirdly snug and scrapey, to the point where when I first plugged the USB-C charger in I was worried about the pressure it took. None of these are dealbreakers, but if you're coming from a nicer MacBook, Thinkpad, etc. they will be noticable. The battery is adequate. I feel 5-6 hours is a reasonable estimate under normal use. That can be stretched though: When remote desktopping for work, with few sounds playing and the screen brightness around 25%, it lasts through a full workday easily. While it's not a powerhouse by any means, it does fine for any non-intensive tasks like web browsing or remote desktopping. I doubt it'd be much good for gaming, but it could probably handle simpler games like Minecraft. It does fine with 1080p YouTube videos, and the included software all feels snappy. As someone who's used Linux on and off for several years now, I think it's finally at the point where I could recommend it right alongside Windows or Mac OS (with the caveat that not all software will be compatible with it). I went with the Zorin option of the Star Lite as it's supposed to be a little less resource hungry, and I have no complaints.I've only had it for a short while, so I can't speak for its longevity. I've noticed some other reviews noting immediate and short-term issues, but from what I've seen the company seems to have good enough customer support that I'm not concerned.Overall, the portability and user experience of the laptop more than make up for the few cons. I don't know if I'd recommend it as a primary computer unless your budget is too low to afford something more powerful, but as a supplement to a desktop it's very needs-suiting.

Great device, works perfectly.
Good quality build, it came with Linux Mint however I'm using it for some OffSec training so have replaced distro with the latest version of Kali Linux. The device works perfectly with Kali. A+

Fantastic Laptop and Linux Straight Out the Box.
What can I say, this laptop is superb. The build quality is stunning. The keyboard is fabulous to type on and I am loving the backlighting. The only issue is its a shame it doesn't use an ambient light sensor but I guess having it this way probably saves power so not all bad really. The screen is really great as well. The USB C as both a charging port and a gateway to a plethora of possible adaptations is fantastic. It would have been nice if the HDMI was full size but with the USB C, it doesn't matter as you can enhance the laptops IO with a 7 in 1 adaptor.

Update// all good now (was happy with it, but battery life is really low
Update - May:Looks like I had a faulty battery, a replacement was sent to me and after install everything is up and running properly now—-Laptop is great, however never get more than 2/2.5 consecutive hours and computer shuts down when battery indicator is still at ~58%When you plug-it to charger and power on it shows that you were indeed at 0%
