Was needing a 2nd monitor for my laptop. I'm in IT, and have additional monitors, but an Increase in WFH means comfort. This was the perfect solution! Easy to install, outstanding display quality, and it weighs practically nothing. I work from my laptop all day, and this has made a huge difference. Portable, durable, and a true extension of my laptop screen. Would recommend to anyone who spends enormous hours on their laptop right now. Worth the investment.

I was a little disappointed by the size of the actual screen. Product is heavy, you have to be very careful not to knock the monitor off of the magnets. Also, the screen is quite dim.Overall it is helpful to have access to a 2nd monitor without having to be seated at a desk or table. My other stand alone portable monitors are better however you cannot utilize them without a desk or table so that is where I think SideTrak wins my vote. Can't wait to see if they can work out the kinks. I'd definitely try again.

It went blank a few times while still being plugged in. Also, there was a plaid pattern that happened for a short while.

Not Reliable-Absolute Rubbish-Do Not Purchase This ProductI purchased this Sidetrack screen for my Hewlett-Packard laptop in April hoping that it would improve my productivity. I figured two screens are better than one. It was a big mistake and a waste of money.Some days it works and some days it doesn't work. When it does not work I get a blank screen. I have a degree in physics from an Ivy League school and I cannot get this product to function.I installed it on my computer, downloaded the appropriate software and have contacted the company at least twice in an attempt to get the screen to work. I paid $299 for this product which is little more than a black screen attached to my computer.All this product did was "sidetrack" me from getting my work done. I spent too much time trying to get it to work.Do not buy this rubbish.

Multiple screen use is essential to efficiently performing tasks in my line of work. I held off purchasing a side screen for my laptop hoping the prices would drop. They did not, so I purchased the Side Track. It's functional but lacks any controls on the display. It's appearance in comparison to my laptop screen has a slight tint of green. Magnets hold the monitor frame on the lid of the laptop and depending on where you may be using it "on the run"....it could come apart from the lid of the laptop. I need to be very careful when extending the screen for use. It works, but did not meet my expectation of overall performance.

Great product that works perfect as a 2nd screen. Not too bulky either so it fits perfectly in my laptop bag. Was worried about it staying attached to macbook pro but the magnets work great.

Nice idea but poor execution. First off the monitor does have a bit of heft to it and is large enough to make your laptop feel unwieldy. The added weight is enough to wreak havok on your laptop's hinges and will cause your screen to slam shut whenever you try to close it.The motion of pulling out the monitor is by no means smooth, with the monitor constantly catching on the track. In addition if not pulled out correctly the monitor tends to sag at an angle instead of hanging straight out.Pulling the monitor out hard until you hear a click signifies the locking mechanism has worked and should solve the sagging issue but again the motion is nowhere near as smooth or as simple as advertised.This problems with the locking mechanism and slidetrack are made worse by the fact that the magnets are not strong so you are likely pull the frame off the magnets altogether.Will also add the screen is noticeably darker and there is no ability to change it.

SideTrak is super easy to install and has transformed my work experience. Working from home, I have to use the TV as a second screen...or at least I did before SideTrak. No bulky desktop monitors anymore. I can move around the house with my SideTrak. I can also flip it so that a person across from me can see. Greatest innovation I have seen in a long while!
