Awesome, awsome knife
I'm a knife guy, have a lot of survival knives, but wanted to get more into bushcrafting. After a LOT of research I found Joker and their selection of knives. If you look at the market, there aren't many competitive options to the Ember. Scandi grind, stainless blade, micarta handle, nice sheath... this knife is awesome. Sharp out of the box and makes feather sticks easier than I thought was possible. I'll be getting the Nomad 6.5 next.

Hard to beat!
This is a great tool, hard to beat for the money ! I would definitely ethos if you’re looking for a bushcraft knife or camp knife! Scary sharp out of the box & the fit & finish looks like something on a much more expensive tool !

Nice knife, but mine will not throw sparks...
Let me just say that I love just about everything regarding this knife. When you pull this knife out of the box, it just screams quality. The sheath is gorgeous and well made. The knife and the fire steel fit firmly in the sheath, they definitely will not fall out. The knife has a nice weight and balance, and the edge is razor sharp, and feels great in the hand. But, here is my only gripe (and I don't know if this is just the knife I got) but it will not throw a spark on the ferro rod. Unlike my Mora Garberg and my LT Wright Knife which shower sparks like a champ. This knife just doesn't have a sharp enough spine to throw sparks. I've watched several video reviews of this knife, and they all have it throwing sparks, but the one I got does not. I ended up putting it on a grinder to sharpen up the spine. It is wasn't for the spine sharpness on this knife, it would have gotten a 5 Star rating. Would I buy another Joker knife? Absolutely!

Updated review.
Update: I wonder if I recieved a return from Amazon or it was possibly a fluke. I ordered a new knife and this knife was sealed in the box unlike the last. I opened the box and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was like it should have been the first time. Super sharp and the grind was even. No damage to the blade or anything else. The handle was finished correctly and very comfortable. I'm excited to try this knife out when it warms up. I'm glad I gave them a second chance so far. I really wanted to like this knife but quality control issues are too bad to ignore. The grind is uneven. Possibly causing the blade issue that is shown. There is a small section on the blade that is damaged. It looks like it had a chip and they decided to resharpen the blade but did not complete the repair. Also there is a spot on the handle that was partially ground leaving a high spot in scale. The sheath had a small nick in the leather. Finish those repairs and it appears you could have a great knife. There is something small on the blade that I could not remove however I could not get my camera to focus on it. It was bought to be a user so that was not an issue compared to the blade and handle problems. I have heard claims of this knife being better than an esee or mora galberg. So far this has not been the case in my experience. There is not a place on Amazon to contact the company. I would love to exchange this knife for one that did not have these issues for an updated review but sadly that is not an option.

Definitely wish I new about this knife sooner
I been very pleased with this knife. Out of the box it had a very nice edge and a super sharp spine for the ferro rod. This is my 5th knife and by far it's the nicest, sharpest, and well fineshed one out of the box. The handle is very comfortable, it's a bit thicker than my other knives for a more natural feel in the hand. The sheath seems to be good quality as well. The buttons on the dangler are little to loose for my liking. It's very easy to snap and unsnap them. It feels like under the right circumstances they could unsnap on there own. Over all I think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer knife for the money. I liked it enough to ordered the bushcrafter ffg with olive wood handle scales and will be selling a few of my other well known brand name knifes off.

Fantastic knife for the money.
Considering the price I got this for, it's incredible value. The sheath alone is worth $100. I use mine for fire making and batoning (you will damage the back spine this way... But it's a Bushcraft knife after all..) and it works beautifully.

Wish I would’ve known about this knife maker sooner!
I like everything about this knife and sheath! Holds an edge and easy to sharpen, spine is sharp enough to throw sparks with the included and matching Ferrell rod. This will not be my last Joker knife.

Best knife for the buck you will find anywhere.
I collect bushcraft knives AND I use them, in the bush, hard, everyday. I ordered a Joker after seeing glowing reviews, and they were not wrong. I own knives by Adventure Sworn at 5x the price, Casstrom and L.T.Wright at 3x the price, and many others. This knife easily holds it's own with such stellar company. The steel is perfect at this price point, but the grind and finish punches way out of it's weight class- Wow, that's workmanship! The handle is one of the best, and perfectly mated to the steel. It's polished just right to give an excellent grip, and the pins are sanded perfectly flush. The sheath is well designed, and better than some much more expensive knives, and getting a fire steel and dangler is a big bonus. If this knife is a stepping stone to getting a custom knife, or one you're going to hold on to for a very long time, it's an ideal choice. Sorry if I sound like an ad for Joker, but this knife is THAT good. I'm sorry I could not give this product 7 stars.

Dicker Stahl, Ergonomischer Griff - schön dick genug. Top verarbeitet, von Werk aus Rasiermesser-scharf. Scandi Schliff ohne nennenswerten Sekundärschliff. Dies ist mittlerweile mein 3. Joker Messer neben Joker Nessmuk Scandi und Joker Nessmuk Flat. Ich bin vollstes zufrieden.

Great Product! Easy Shipping!
Knife showed up a day early, no problem getting it into Canada, and I couldn't have been happier. Knife is exactly what I was expecting it to be. It came razor sharp and I'm telling you that the attention to detail on this knife is easily comparable to other $200-$300 bushcrafters. I've never heard of this company, I only stumbled on it through a review I read online. Man I'm glad I did.

This ember is a fire starter
Literally! I’m probably like most of you. Got the knife sickness. Just can’t stop exploring and looking Into new knives. The reality is most end up in my collection and seldom get used. This beast of a knife is some finely crafted Spanish art though. I’m impressed with the elegance and workmanship. The single minute flaw I found was the bezel edges on the Scandi grind are ground slightly at different angles, but this is not noticeable unless you’re measuring. My knife came sharp but not razor sharp, but a few minutes of work was all it needed. Easy to sharpen. I made a bunch of feather sticks abd I’m very impressed at how well this knife glides into the wood. Light pressure and an all that is needed for making paper thin shavings. If you want to carve up the wood, this knife will tear into it with ease and you’ll be grinning like a kid using a knife for the first time. Batons like it’s no one’s business. Throws sparks beautifully. I feel bad for my other knives, but this one just may take the cake. Won’t replace my EDC, but this is going to be one of my favorite go to knives that’s for sure. If you’re on the fence, don’t wait too long. These are a great price ($120 CAD) and like everything in life, all good things must come to an end. Don’t think they’ll be going down in price, that’s a guarantee.
