This is the second book of this kind that I purchased for my grandchildren and they absolutely love them. In this adventure they become astronauts who are taking a trip to Mars. They experience a lot of what may truly happen. During this adventure they have to make decisions and they are tough ones. In some they may die if they make the wrong decision. Scary...but adventerous. After making these decisions they must live with the outcome. This book is so good for children because it adds adventure with decision making and allows the child to carve their destiny. I Highly recommend this read and all others like it. Wonderful book.

My 10 y.o. son reads and re-reads this adventure. He often tells me how much he loves it.

My 9 yr old loved this, also a great way to look at cause & effect.

This is an excellent book where the reader makes choice after choice that leads to one of over 20 unique endings. As the story is being read, the reader will feel like he or she is on Mars on a high profile mission.

I am in the process of trying to purchase enough of these to have a class set. It is a great differentiated way to teach the future of space exploration.

We gave our son a couple of these for his birthday. He has been reading them non-stop for several weeks, and he takes them everywhere he goes. Kudos to the Worst Case Scenario folks.

This book is well done. It reminds me of the older choose your own adventure books but this is more modern. My students love this book. Especially reluctant readers.

My son has spent more time with this book and the various outcomes. I bought him the other one and will pick up the Amazon book when it comes out.

I bought this for my nephew last Christmas and he was delighted with it. When he was finished with it I had a go and I was delighted too. A nice gift for younger readers or for those adults with fond memories of choose-your-own-adventure books. The added bonus that these books have been written with input from experts in the fields they cover, and are thus something of an educational tool, just makes it all the better. I now have no worries about dropping my nephew off into hostile environments. Something I have considered often.

My 11 year-old son loved this book and it got him reading-up on Astronomy. This is a great tool for homeschoolers! I liked the fact you can make different choices as you read and based on your choice the story pans out differently. We can't wait for more of this series to be published. The Everest one is great too by the way!
