Excellent!
Simple but excellent. And it works! Not the prettiest or trickiest thermostat but it works! And it's accurate. And the time feature is great for cold days when you're out or bedtime - so you can drop the temps only for them to raise again.Bought this unit previously. Didn't trust anything else with "toys" so bought it again.

Great Warm Air Heating Controller
Easy for non electrician to install. Controls gas warm air heater perfectly. The ECO function for short burst of heating is great.

Agree with some other reviews
Easy to install, Mine is a 2 wire system, replaced an old non digital thermostat. It does have a loud switching click which is annoying and the other annoying thing is the screen is NOT BACKLIT, who would not include that in the design!! Otherwise seems to work accurately and easy to adjust

Excellent product
If you want to control the temperature in a specific room where you don’t have a thermostat or you want a digital readout this system works really well.Connects wirelessly to the sender that replaces your original thermostat unit and gives a clear view of the current temperature and is easy to control.

Gas bill went up...
Looks nice but... Keeps starting boiler several times per hour to not let temp down at all, What's increasing gas consumption.

Works great super simple
Bought this to replace a much older controlled thermostat. Which had a lot more function's. Which were never used. It was always temporarily even from new. After several years it finally stopped working so I wanted to replace it with something better suited to what needed. This new thermostat is great so simple to use and install. Nothing fancy no timers no holiday mode. If you want a straight forward easy thermostat turn the heating on or off or just set the heating to the temperature you want. This is definitely recommend Looks good works really well. Had it over a month or so can't fault it

Decent quality easy to install but no heat indicator
The installation was relatively straightforward however the instructions leave a lot to be desired. There isn't an adequate description of the various menu options for instance. Two complaints:– there should be a heating indicator I.e. heating relay active – on mine it does not appear (could be a firmware problem)– backighting on remote Would be eminently sensible even if for when you adjust/check

This is an efficient room Thermostat. With added dismantle / reassemble information.
I first bought this particular room thermostat from a local DIY store. My old analogue type was inefficient, it had a huge hysteresis so the boiler 'would never switch off' unless the house temperature was way above the level that was set. This digital thermostat, easy to install, is very efficient and switches the heating on and off at the correct temperature. ( a separate thermometer proves this). My daughter's family had similar problems in their house so I tried to get them the same item. The local DIY store had stopped selling this particular item and only stocked items that were more complicated and more expensive.I opted for the Amazon store to find the same model I had purchased. Bingo! Bought it, installed it into my daughter's house. My son-in-law is over the moon with the result. So much more efficient and their boiler is running less than before. Some people have reported difficulty in opening the device. I had no problem, but being an engineer found it easy. To remove the cover, for access to the batteries, place your thumb on the bottom of the unit, fingers on the top, and 'twist' down. Cover easily removed. For access to the electrics and fixing screws. Isolate the 240v mains to the unit from the boiler control or main switch for safety. Use a small screwdriver blade to 'gently' release the 2 top locking tabs at the top for the middle case to be lifted clear. Done. To reverse the procedure, 'Click' the middle case back. To replace the front case: place the bottom in first and then twist top back in. Pull to check it has locked. Done.
