Patriotic
One has to like their type of music. I played it for a for senior citizens luncheon. They sang along with the DVD. Very patriotic and loved by those who love America.

One of my favorites...
I truly enjoyed almost every song. This is one of my favorites. I listen to it, and share it as often as I can. There is nothing really spectacular, but the harmony of songs is unusually good. The only kind of "Oh" is when the Martins sing their Medely. It is well done, but just a bit short in feeling, I think. That is to say, I did not have time to prepare for such a change in pace. Yet, the audience liked it, and I think that were I in the audience I just might not have noticed the abrupt change so much. At times, I get rather relaxed in my recliner and the sounds become thearaputic and the songs such a blessing that I suppose I was not expecting to be awakened by a different beat. Aside from this meandering, (the hour is late), I really have nothing bad to say about this album. I love it, and I think you will too.I really do like the Martins. Honest!Mickey Thorne

Great Southern Gospel Music from Bill and Gloria Gaither and their Friends
I LOVE gospel music. Listen to it for hours on end. Some of my favorite artists and bands are in the Gaither Family.I have to admit that the earlier recording from large concents like this one is the pinnacle of my admiration for Gaither music. Sadly in recent years (about the 2000s) recordings like this one is rare.I urge you-if your fan of the Gaithers or good gospel music-to get a hold of a copy, and listen to some great gospel classics.Highlights:- Jessy Dixon and Andrea Crouch sing "Soon, and Very Soon". AMAZING!- The Martins sing "Bound for the Promised Land". Awe (literally got chills when listening to this)- "Sombody Loves Me" with the Homecoming Friends- plus many more great songs

My introduction to Gaither Homecomings
I treasure this dvd as it was my first foray into the Homecoming series. I discovered the Gaithers in the early 70s (e.g., "Something Beautiful, Something Good.") I had somehow left them behind and found them again through the Homecoming shows on cable. This particular dvd has a duet by Sandy Patti and Larnell Harris that never fails to uplift and inspire ("I've Just Seen Jesus.") I highly recommend this dvd and the cd. Both a blessing.

Gaithers always deliver quality Gospel Music!
Gaither's are legends in the Gospel music business and this Homecoming DVD is another classic. If you love Gospel Music, the Gaither's will never fail you. With the Kennedy Center as a backdrop, this is a very beautiful presentation.
