Blue Magic 900 Carpet Stain & Spot Lifter - 22 oz. Aerosol Can

First, let me say that I DID NOT receive this product for free or discounted, nor was I solicited in ANY way to review this product. You can see my purchase is VERIFIED. Further, my purchase was 100% INDEPENDENT and so are my opinions. That out of the way, I would say that this is one of those rare products I wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars for! I have included a few pictures.... wish I would have taken even more before and afters because it worked that well. My carpet is very high end "sculpted berber" in case that helps you compare what you have. It is a sort of darker tan with flecks of turquoise color - about 10 years old. (yes, it's ready for replacement) I have pretty much tried about every carpet cleaner out there trying to remove old stains. I suspect the biggest issues I had were old "puppy potty training" stains, but who can know for sure this long ago... Anyway... please see my pictures to see what I did. I purchased the pump spray and the aerosol "foam" spray Blue Magic... Pump version vs foam.... For a second you can see the exactly where the foam sprayed... maybe there is an advantage in knowing were the bulk of the product sprayed for a brief second... however, I didn't see any real difference in stain lifting ability. Also, I did purchase a soft, hand held scrub brush to do a light scrub before blotting the product off. Once I saw how quickly and efficiently it remove those gray, plate size spots (about 6 were in the area shown in "after" shot - wish I would have taken a before shot of the whole area), I got braver and tried on a really dark brown drip spot (who knows what it was - I suspect my husband) - I had to do a couple of treatments and use the scrub brush, but it lifted even that stain! Oh... also on the brush, I had purchased the Resolve system (foam cleaner with attached to a long handled scrub brush - so you can stand while scrubbing) and I have taken to using that and then patting with a paper towel and my feet... It's hard for me to get down on my hands and knees. This has worked so well my neighbor borrowed to try on a stain she's had for years. She reports with a couple of treatments it lifted the old mystery stain right up. It does have a slight odor... but not a bad one... clean smelling in my opinion. But I would not report that it has a freshening ability. I was worried it smell chemically and am I happy to report that it does not. It says "removes stains in one step - no vacuuming required." It's actually a couple of steps in my estimation... Apply the product... scrub...(or not - your choice)...wait 30 seconds (15 seconds on a fresh stain).... and then blot, firmly, several times. You can decide if that is "one" or more steps. It also warns that you should test your carpet before using.... I did not.... only because we are going to replace it and it was my thought it can't be worse than it already is... But I do recommend following their directions. As with all chemicals it says to keep out of reach of children. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seems useful. Further, I did NOT receive compensation of ANY kind for my review. This is the most effective carpet and upholstery cleaner that I’ve ever used. I used to get it from the auto shop, but they stopped carrying it and I can only think it’s because bigger brands won out on marketing because nothing works as well. We recently needed to clean a car that we inherited and the seats were really dirty. I tracked this down on Amazon and it was worth the couple days wait. As you can see in the photos, it did a phenomenal job. Everything washed up super clean and we sold the car at a great price. My husband had been super skeptical that it could remove some of the seat stains and it did, so I decided to try it on some house carpet that had a stubborn stain and 3 cleaners had barely budged it. Again, this removed the stain. I’ve tossed out my other house carpet cleaners and will have this on hand from now on.

So we moved into a house a while, back, which has off-white carpet. This has become the bane of my existence :-) Between a dog and two kids I have used everything under the sun to get stains out. Wasted a-lot of money trying to find something that actually works and works well. This product is hands-down going to be my go to for the rest of my life. That sounds like an over the top statement, but I spray this on and follow up a few minutes later with our handheld spot cleaner, spraying the additional soap and water. Brush it slightly and then use the wand to suck up all the liquid… And it's like magic.. This product is so effective and does not leave a residue so I am quite happy with it. I guess it's slightly expensive for its purpose, but the bottle is quite large and lasts quite long.

Worked really good. Get some stains out with ease.

It did just what I wanted got rid of stains in carpet. Used worked perfect.

I have used it on my carpet when painting and some paint spattered on carpet took it right out. Have used it on just random spots on my carpet around the house takes it right out… and have used on car upholstery! Just spray, let set few seconds and blot.

I've been using this product for over 10years. It was able to "lift" a red sharpie pen from beige carpet. Blot the stain not scrub. I also purchased two cans due to its availability.

I used this product in past, and it always worked. So, I keep have one can all the time in my garage.

Cleaned a spot for the second time - used a bit more spray 2nd time around - did the job fabulously !!

It was really terrible product. I sprayed it on my old stained spot and I thought it would work.I used a brush to brush the spot that I sprayed and the stain getting bigger and bigger and leaved out a big yellow stain. Never ever use this again!!!

Didn't remove the stain. Not impressed.
