Seaguar Blue Label 25 Yards Fluorocarbon Leader

I caught lots of flounder (fluke) with this product. I met John Skinner, fishing author, Youtube fishing channel celebrity and he mentioned to use fluorocarbon line... I got it and I loved it. Strong, stiff, clear, thin diameter, no stretch.... Great product!!.. Its expensive compared to other lines but it’s worth it cause through the use of the line and my rod, following John skinner descriptions... I get to feel the way my rig swims upon casting and reeling. I get to feel if my lure is dragging on the bottom, if it’s swimming correctly, if it’s a sandy or muddy bottom, if there’s an edge or a hole, if i get a light or a hard hit, what type of fish it is by the way it shakes my line and how big it is. I’m giving it a 5 star review for the success I’ve gotten. However upon writing this post I just ordered Kasting brand of fluorocarbon line via Amazon. I’ll write another honest review upon use. The reason for the switch is that with kastking I’m getting more line for the money. KastKing disappointed me with the Baitfeeder sharky 3 reel so if their brand of fluorocarbon line lets me down... I will be happy in spending the extra money on Seaguar fluorocarbon line.

I purchased Seaguar Blue Leader Line in 6lb & 8lb test for our walleye jigging rods based on the 'perceived' added strength/abrasion resistance.Both the 6lb & 8lb are extremely fragile with a stregth failure far less than the stated poundage.Instead, I ordered Berkley's fluorocarbon and tossed the Seaguar Blue Leader Line in the garbage!Poor quality, complete fail.

Seaguar makes the best leader material in my opinion. Easy to use, extremely tough and very slick. Will use again. Shipment was ahead of schedule.

Bought this for a tuna fishing trip, and was having trouble getting a good knot. After losing a large fish, the deckhand checked the material and was able to easily break 40 lb test with his hands. Seaguar is usually a great material so I received either a counterfeit spool or a bad batch

Seaguar Blue is fantastic leader. It can get quite pricey compared to mono-filament, however sometimes the price is outweighed by the catch. I never really put much thought into fluorocarbon leader. I always figured if a fish was going to bite, it really didn't matter as long as the leader wasn't bright orange or something. Until, I started targeting Mangrove Snapper. These fish have excellent sight, and this is where fluorocarbon excelled. I am able to use 20lb fluorocarbon in place of 12-14 lb mono-filament. The fluorocarbon is thinner and has less viability. When fishing clean or clear water, or for fish that have very good eyesight, is when I will switch over to fluorocarbon. Give it a try next time you are wondering why nothing is biting on a perfect, calm fishing day.

Have had issues with other brands Knots failing. No issues with this in both 12 and 30# test. Specifically I am using an FG Knot to connect 12# leader to 8# Braid and 30# leader to 15-20# braid. Not sure why, same knot, same braid, much different results on several occasions.

This is the only leader line I will use for commercial striped bass fishing, its $10 cheaper on Amazon than here locally

After reading lots of reviews and videos, I bought this leader for grouper fishing. We bought 80lb and was very happy with it. Has some of the best abrasion resistance while still very easy to tie knots (even with 80lb test). Is a little more expensive than other brands, but well worth it.

I bought this line because the reviews I read were good but I guess I received an old one because it brakes very easily! Even for small trout, I would never put this line in my reel.

Really nice flourocarbon that I have been using as a leader material for toothy critters

Bought this for uke strings, as I'm a music teacher. Works well for that purpose, I'm pleasantly surprised. Not sure I saved any money in the end though, but hey, they sound good!

Seagaur is always the best line... Hands down I wont fish any other brand
