This product is advertised as also being for cold brewing coffee. If this is why you are considering this product, look elsewhere. The bag does a poor job of filtering ground coffee and made such an awful cup of iced coffee I spilled the hole batch out.

These nut milk bags are amazing. They are very easy to use and hold a large capacity. I use them for steeping whole tea and straining the seeds out of fruit juices when baking. They have such a huge variety of uses. They are easily washable and also reusable. Great for all of your straining and draining needs.I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This nut bag is a very good size. It s 12 x 12". It is a reusable BPA free nylon mesh and can be reused.These bags are very useful for a variety of things not just making nut milk. You can uses these bags to make cold brew coffee, to aid in your juicing process (as a strainer to remove pulp before bottling), to make a large batch of herbal tea(as an infuser in the pot of boiling water), as an herb infuser for soups, for sprouting, for making homemade kefir and yogurt cheeses. It's basically a more convenient style of cheesecloth, but has pull strings that you can use to both seal the bag and to use for hanging the bag. The ties are also nice for pulling the bag in on a pitcher or other device that you are using in your tasks. It's washable. I put mine on the hand wash cycle in a delicate bag in the washer then hung it to dry. Mind you I used a laundry detergent I made myself so it was washed in a chemical free detergent. I gave it a rinse with the sink sprayer, wrung it out, then hung it to dry. Granted you could hand wash it.
