Glad I bought this cute little guy!
I ordered this to spice up my lockdown exercise and bring some extra fun to it. (I’m 41 for goodness sake!) But I don’t care. I had already read reviews they said it was hard to assemble and decided thst I would take it to a local bike shop to put it together for me. They did and it cost £40. In my mind, it was worth it. No hassle and they’re very used to constructing bikes and breaks etc... They did a super job. I also bought myself a helmet from them! I went for a lovely scoot the next day. It’s a lot of fun on the downhills. I feel like my right quad is going to be super muscly because it’s enhanced the whole time you’re scooting and works much harder than the leg that propels you. So I’m 5’7” and weigh 10.5st. I don’t think you could be much taller and comfortably scoot on this but I reckon the scooter could easily take another stone or two. The tyres are solid. You just need a decent sense of balance. All in all, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s quite big, but it fits in my VW van easily and wouldn’t be hard to put in a normal car, you might have to put the back seats down. It doesn’t fold like other scooters. It’s a rigid structure. I love the colour. That’s great. The stand is useful but the front tyre needs to be aligned with the back otherwise it will tip. I would lean It against something if you can. You can’t fail to ha e fun on this cheeky little scooter. It’s a cheap alternative to a bike and just a bit of fun. Nice to throw in the car and go somewhere different for a new scoot adventure (when we’re allowed!). So my advice - get it professionally put together and factor that into the purchase price. Then have fun!!!!!

I love it and I ain't a kid...........
As a 41 year old father of 2 I've always wanted to mess about on scooters with the kids but never liked the ride of the small hard wheel scooters on sale. Saw this and thought that looks a lot more comfortable. Assembly will take some time if you've never messed about with bikes before, but if you know the basics about 30 minutes and you'll be done. Took me about 20 mins to build and another 5 or so after a little ride to adjust the brakes. Assembly instructions aren't the best but there's loads of build videos on youtube and the instruction video on the amazon product page is pretty good as well. Quality of the scooter seems pretty good and all parts fitted together with no issues. Design of the scooter is very nice I really like the black with the light blue trim. Size and weight limits- I am quite wide shouldered and at just over 6ft and 15 stone I was a little concerned about the scooter but so far it seems to be pretty strong. I would be confident to ride this even if I was over the max suggested weight limit of 100kg. The build is very similar to a BMX with pretty decent looking welds and strengthening. I do dwarf the scooter a little bit so if you are taller than me then you may want to find a slightly bigger one or get used to scooting around slightly hunched over. Only issue so far is that I'm finding it quite hard to actually have a go on it as the kids keep taking it......... One final point i would like to make is- as the front is actually just a BMX frame you could always change out the front forks and put an even bigger wheel on there. or like I am thinking of doing putting a front fork from my old bike on there for the suspension (only problem old bike was black and orange so I'll have to spray it as well.)

Excellent scooter
I bought this for my son’s birthday and he loves it! A bit of a mission to assemble but once done a sturdy scooter! My son absolutely loves it!

It's decent, with some caveats
Like others have said you get what you pay for, it's a decent frame and good for kids to grow into. It also looks cool and as an adult I found it fun when I had a go. There's not much else out there quite like it if you don't want to pay big money whilst also not going for one of those small child style scooters, it's good. On the down side as others have mentioned the brakes were crap, you have to fit them yourself and the wheels were buckled. Ended up taking it to a bike shop to get sorted for another £35, which I still consider worth it with that cost added, it's just extra faff. Your mileage may vary!

Talk of the school yard
We got this for my son last year when he was 6. It was a bit too much of a steep learning curve for him to get the hang of, and it stayed in the shed over the winter. He pulled it out this summer and finally got the hang of it. He absolutely loves it and it's actually hilarious to see the other kids stare as he sails past. He's like a celebrity - they all want to say hi to him and tell him how cool his scooter is! I wouldn't be surprised if Santa is asked for one by a few of them. He would have slightly lower than average coordination and hasn't learned to ride a bike yet, but after a bit of practice he's a pro on this. As others have mentioned, it took quite a bit to assemble, particularly getting the brakes just right. Worth the tinkering though.

Dont bother !
It looks good however its notvas good as it looks .. 3 times the handle bars came off .. 3 times they were checked and sorted .. even took it to bike shop for them to do and make sure .. its dangerous for kids .. so i tried to return .. got the normal take to evri drop off which was fine .. took to two diff evri drop offs to be refused both times as was too big .. spoke to amazon .. they messaged the seller last thurs as did i .4 days later no response .. .. i would think twice before buying this scooter tbh ..

Damaged on arrival and tyres not pumped up.
I cannot contact the seller to tell them both rubber hand grips are damaged. One is split and about to fall off, the other is mangled but holding on. Trying to contact the seller gets me routed to Amazon for returns. I don't want to return the item when all I need is hand grips, and I've only just noticed when removing the protective packaging, after building the item. Otherwise seems good quality, though both tyres came deflated too. A minor annoyance but worth knowing if you don't have a pump for them.

Solid scooter for any child, solid enough for an adult too...a good buy.
Excellent scooter. Bought for an 8 year old at Christmas. This is solid and pretty indestructible. Ignore those complaining about putting it together... it took me 14 minutes to build. Ok I'm forever building and tinkering with bikes but the tools come with it and only those who have absolutely no technical abilities would struggle. It comes with one wheel fitted and the front bolts on easily. The brakes are fitted but need tweeking slightly, again a job that takes a few minutes. The handlebars bolt on (four screws) which should be tightened equally and in turn with one more bolt that needs tightening to attach them to the frame. If these basic requirements are difficult then any YouTube video on the above could be found as it's the same for a bmx bike etc. An adult would struggle to break it and if the only parts that could be broken do eventually break in some sort of collision (brake levers) they can be bought for a few pound.

Get fit!
Took this thing out 3 months straight to the park last summer. My legs now look like a horse! LOL Perfect workout and catching air while you work. smooth ride and its fast if you build it right! Easy to maintain but hard to hide it from your nieces and nephews! Watch your back if you have kids. They gonna steal it!

Satisfaite
