Lenovo IdeaCentre H530 Windows 7 Desktop (57324189) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I have never purchased a Lenovo before. We've always had HP's. I was looking for a replacement tower for my husband who is not really computer savvy but spends a lot of time doing searches and emailing. I didn't want him to have to learn a new program with Windows 8, so I found this Lenovo with Windows 7 on it. I hooked it up, and voila, his email was right there via Windows Live Mail; it recognized his printer and our home network. It was so easy. I didn't have to reconfigure anything. I love it! He loves it! Now I don't have to continually fix this, fix that, so he can easily access everything himself. It's great!

My old XP finally more or less died so after much research I purchased the Lenovo based on price and recommendations (especially Win 7).I have been using it a couple of months now and it has met my expectations and needs thus far. It is certainly much faster than my old computer and I have not had any problems with it (normal amount of problems with Windows which always suck). My internet connection is so slow I really can't push it there but it does a better job on videos than my old XP. did.If it just lasts 14 years like my old one did it will have been money well spent.

This is a great little computer. I bought it because I was extremely happy with my previous computer which was an IBM. It does not have the fastest processor out there, but - for the price you cant beat this deal & it is more than adequate for my needs. I have had it for a few weeks - very user friendly - I'm not a computer expert by any means but have had no problem setting everything up. I love the 1 Terabyte hard drive which will give me plenty of space for all our photos, videos etc. I have not had a single problem with it nor have I had any need to contact support. I definitely recommend this purchase if you are looking for a nice basic Dual-core computer & like windows 7. John M.

I love it, it did get a malware almost immediately and had to get it 'cleaned up' but still a great desktop for what I use it for. So pleased I could finally buy a new computer with windows 7. I tried windows 8 and really hated it, and couldn't find a new windows 7, however it seems that now they are available thank goodness. Lenovo IdeaCentre H530 Desktop (57323783)

Works great! Am very pleased with this purchase. This tower replaces another after a hard drive crash. I did not realize when I ordered it that it also comes with a new keyboard which I *love*. Easy set up for non-techies and we were back in business in no time.

Came loaded with a lot of malware. It was no fun cleaning it up. I suppose Lenovo makes a few dollars by including this rubbish. I won't buy another. Did appreciate getting a new computer with Windows 7 instead of Windows 8. I did install Windows 10 and rolled back to Windows 7 within a week. Windows 10 did not work well on this computer. That's OK. I learned to hate Windows 10 because I also tried it on my other computer.

Works reasonably well. Went blue screen of death on me a couple times in the first 2 weeks, so that scares me a bit. Been fine lately. Not a big fan of the add on anti-virus software. Pop up to get me to buy, way too frequently. Otherwise it is quiet, front access stuff works well and easy to get to.

This Lenovo computer was a STEAL at $320.99 w/free delivery when ordered on Black Friday and is now selling for $404.96! It came loaded with Windows 7 and not Win 8.1 garbage! Sleak design, nice keyboard and mouse. Plenty of memory and speed to surf the net, e-mail, watch videos, burn CD's and DVDs, work on documents and images and a huge hard drive. Replacing 11 year old family desktop that was running XP and painfully slow. Only glitch when we got it and hooked up was video playback was garbled with YouTube...quick fix was to download Adobe Flash Player and problem was resolved. Expansion slots for later upgrades. Need more USB ports - simple solution is to buy a hub. Great system!
