After a few times playing, we had a broken orb piece. I reached out to the customer support team to request a replacement part and received a quick response. A few days later I received an entire new replacement set. The kids love to play and the product support was exceptional.

This is the absolute best. A true neighborhood and family favorite! Fun for the entire family. I’ve never before found a game that my kids love as much as this light up capture the flag game. This company is also wonderful to work with and I could not be more pleased. I can’t wait to try their other games!

I am writing this review after just one use. We received the items on Thursday and put it to use the very next day. It is often hard to buy for your kids as they get older. It seems their interest become video games and technology. This was a surprisingly delightful switch.I bought the item based on the Amazon reviews. They all seemed pretty positive And they were right. My child is just turning 12. He asked for a couple friends to come over and hang out. I bought this hoping it would give us some great fun and another way to celebrate his birthday.I was able to get together about 13 people, included us parents and we headed for a local sports field.It was amazing fun! A great way to partner with the kids and strategize our next moves. We split adults up onto both teams. No way were we going to give them the advantage of youth vs. the oldies (we are all just 40 something).We played for over two hours and the kids were not ready to call it in. I can see that we will have years of fun with this, even when they reach high school. I strongly suggest it. I felt it was pricey when I bought it, but it is so worth the money they ask.The only down side to the game is that sometimes the wristband falls off. We had two come apart completely but were able to get them back together. When they come apart, you often have to have another teammate help put it back on. I wouldn’t let this stop you. The experience is well worth the minor inconvenience!

We bought this game for our 12 year old son for Christmas to help him get off video games and play outside with his friends. He originally showed interest but each time we suggested he play with his friends, he said no. Eventually he said he didn't want it anymore and we should take it back. My wife and I were very disappointed and so decided to keep it. We had friends with kids over last night and decided to play. He reluctantly said "yes". Everyone ended up having a great time, especially my son. The kids ages ranged from 8 to 15 years old. Since we were short one player to make even teams, I decided to play as well. (50 years old) We played wizard since one of the kids had a broken ankle and couldn't run. It was a great way of including him and he enjoyed moving the players around. We were all laughing and sweating from running around for an hour and a half. By the time we were done, the kids were planning which game variation they wanted to do next time. This is a really fun game that many ages can play at once. The lights are very bright and work well in many lighting conditions. I suggest playing on grass or other soft surface as the kids tend to drop the orbs whenever they get tagged. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the rules were difficult to understand when it came to people guarding the orbs. Our wizard had to move people if we were stuck in a stalemate. We will figure it out though. It is a great game. If you are thinking of getting it, you should buy it now.

I purchased for my kid back in 2021, and it has been used every year since. It has held up really well and continues to be one of those games that he and his friends are always excited about whenever it comes out.It has been especially great for birthday parties, summer evenings, family events, and times when the kids want something active to do outside.I like that it keeps the kids moving and playing together without needing a screen or a complicated setup. It also works great for older kids too!After several years of use, I think we’ve replaced the batteries once. (We do make sure everything is off before putting it away.)Given how long we’ve had them and that my kid still wants to use it for his birthday party this year, I can honestly say it was a worthwhile purchase and very durable. Highly recommend!

Great game! Bought this for my son's 12th birthday party and the kids absolutely loved it! Have also used it as a fun end of the year activity with his football team. All the kids love it, definitely recommend!

This idea is great! We got this for my almost 10 year old for Christmas. He’s been dying to play. Yesterday was his birthday so we bought the expansion pack and did a capture the flag themed birthday party. Right out of the box the green orb flag wasn’t working great (kept flickering with new battery) then got dropped and instantly broke. A few of the bracelets wouldn’t light up either with new batteries. For as much as you pay for this you would think it would be more durable or made out of something more shock resistant. So sad that within first few minutes it was broken. But the idea was fun and the kids didn’t want to even take a break to eat pizza, cake or ice cream.*** UPDATE*** customer service is wonderful! Helped and were very positive. Took my suggestion about a possible silicone cover over the “flag” orbs in case of accidentally dropping. Replaced and made things right. Went above and beyond. Can’t wait to try again!

I ordered this product for my son's birthday party. I saw it as a fun alternative to laser tag which costs a great deal more. The kids had a blast with the game. I was hoping to love the product, but unfortunately, it was not without issues. We had difficulty getting many of the lights to work. Some of the marker lights came with two batteries but would not turn on. We worked through each one and found that some of them actually worked with one battery instead of 2. One of the blue lights would never turn on. The issue wasn't the battery but the bulb. Also, the large blue orb light did not work well. The battery was very weak and the contact poor. It only comes on occasionally. The green orb light was dropped once and now is difficult to turn on. I would think with a game that involves running with the orb outside that the orbs would be made sturdier. The lights on the bracelets work great but are difficult to keep on smaller arms. I am sad that we may only be able to use the product once. I have consoled myself in that we at least saved money compared to one game of laser tag. The idea is great. (Also, for people who have children that are sensitive to images, do not allow your child to look through the deck of cards included. Some of the images are quite scary. I so like the game alternatives but would have preferred the ideas in absence of the images.)

Firstly I am astounded at the amazing customer service I experienced. (Lindsay you are brilliant at your job and a true professional). We had a few pieces not work and this was swiftly resolved and the company truly care and want you to enjoy the product- it's been years since I have experienced such exemplary customer service.The product- AMAZING! was the reaction of my computer game obsessed teen and his younger sister equally enthusiastic. We have spent weeks playing various versions including a whole week on holiday where the internet didnt feature once and we were all engaged, active and outside- bliss. The game modes are great and enable a play and go facility but we loved pondering them and making our own- plan by day and play by night! That said we have used the pieces for many other games during the day without lighting them up so the value has been great. The kids love it, they get exercise, all ages can participate what more do you want? I no longer think how do I occupy them but rather how can we incorporate this?It's been on one holiday with us, is soon to come on another has been requested at both their next birthdays... what can I say? Brilliant.

We took "Capture the Flag" with us on our camping trip, and the kids had an absolute blast! They invited some friends over, and they ended up playing for hours. It was such a hit that even people from other campsites came over to ask about the game, and some of their kids wanted to join in too! It's a fantastic outdoor activity that kept everyone entertained and engaged. Highly recommend for any family trip!

Das Spiel ist wirklich der Hammer! Hatten es mit auf Klassenfahrt, die Kinder haben es geliebt und wollten es jeden Abend spielen (Jungs und Mädchen). Auch zu Hause mit den Nachbarn spielen sie es oft und kommen schweißgebadet und glücklich nach Hause.Der Kundenservice ist super und ersetzt alle kaputten Teile. Haben es jetzt seit 9 Monaten dauerhaft im Einsatz. Zu Hause ging in der ganzen Zeit nur ein Armband kaputt, auf der Klassenfahrt letzte Woche dann noch eine Kugel und 4 weitere Armbänder. Die Kugel wurde auf Beton geworfen, kann man aber kleben und bei den 5 von 28 Armbändern brach beim Schließen der Nupsie ab. Wurden aber wie gesagt ersetzt.Nur mit "Komm wir spielen Ticken" kommt man heute nicht mehr weit, aber ein paar Leuchtearmbänder und schon sind alle ganz heiß drauf. Es macht wirklich viel Spaß. Bisher haben wir nur die Grundregeln ausprobiert, werden aber als nächstes die Varianten von der Starlux-Homepage in Angriff nehmen.Auch auf Kindergeburtstagen und Klassenfesten toll.Das dritte Team in Magenta gibt es noch nicht in Deutschland zu bestellen, laut Kundenservice soll das aber bald soweit sein.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!Und als Tipp: Vorher erklären, wie man den Verschluss befestigt und ggf helfen. Große Kugeln möglichst nicht werfen.

Wir haben das Spiel (erstmals) auf der Geburtstagsfeier unseres Sohnes gespielt (inkl. Erweiterungsset). Es waren 14 Kinder, zwischen 6 und 10 Jahre alt, überwiegend 10. Wir hatten zuerst Bedenken, ob das Spiel geeignet ist, die Zeit der Feier auszufüllen. Aber das war überhaupt kein Problem! Gespielt wurde zum Einbruch der Dunkelheit bis zur völligen Dunkelheit. Wenn es richtig dunkel ist, macht es am meisten Spaß und das Besondere der Leuchtteams kommt zur Geltung. Die Kinder haben mehrere Spiele in dreieinhalb Stunden gespielt (sie hätten locker noch weiterspielen können). Wir haben die Teams immer unterschiedlich gelost (alle Armbänder in einen Sack und jeder zieht seine Farbe und damit sein Team). Für eine Geburtstagsfeier meiner Meinung nach super geeignet, da alle Kinder, auch diejenigen, die sich nicht kennen, Mädels und Jungs, miteinander spielen. Die Leuchtbänder sollten nach Möglichkeit am Oberarm platziert werden, da Schlauberger natürlich schnell auf die Idee kommen, die Leuchtbänder irgendwo, zB hinterm Rücken, zu verstecken, um sich besser anschleichen zu können. Bei Winterjacken war das allerdings nicht möglich. Da gingen die Bänder gerade übers Handgelenk drüber. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen als Schiedsrichter dabei, das war auch gut so. Und wir waren mit Flüstertüte und Trillerpfeife ausgestattet, das ist auch empfehlenswert, denn das Spiel entwickelt eine mega Dynamik und es wird laut! Wir haben es auf einem Spielplatz gespielt, da dieser ausreichend Hindernisse bietet. Die Randgebiete mit Bäumen haben wir einbezogen. Das war super. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die 5 roten Grenzsteine sind zu wenig. Da würden wir beim nächsten Mal sicher 10 verwenden. Und eine Abgrenzung der äußeren Seitenlinien kann auch sinnvoll sein. Alles in allem ein mega Spaß. Die Kids sollten allerdings auch sportlich sein. Das ist echt anstrengend und alle waren danach fix und fertig. (Für die anschließende Party war kaum noch Zeit und alle waren eh platt.)
