Did the job
This is not a small pipe cutter. It's big. It has a large turning handle which is great. Do as some others have said. Put a little oil on the rollers and cutter. Get it lined up and go slow. Once you get your cut started turn the handle a turn after a couple times around. Keep it tight and it will do it's job. It's not the highest quality cutter but it will work. If you don't like the way it looks send it back.

Effective Tool
I had a quick project that required a pipe cutter. It required that I cut four 1” stainless pipes with reasonable precision. The QWORK Heavy Duty Pipe Cutter made quick work of the task with nice clean cuts. This is your basic pipe cutter. Place the device around the pipe you want to cut and slowly increase pressure each time you make a full revolution around the pipe. I suspect that people that have difficulty with the tool are trying to cut too quickly. If you really crank down too hard for the first couple of revolutions you risk squeezing the pipe out of round or spiraling out of the groove that will become your cut. My experience was perfect. I increased the pressure on the pipe a bit with each turn and the pipe quickly cut with a nice even lip. The cutter came with a spare cutting wheel that looks easy to replace when the time comes. It seems like a sturdy tool that can withstand frequent use. That said, you can spend 10 times more on a professional level pipe cutter. I highly recommend this product for the weekend DIY type.

Great for price
Great tool for the price. I’ve used better but for 3 times the price.

Flawless Tracking, Delivers Clean Cuts
I needed to cut several sections of 1-1/2" rigid steel conduit for a workshop project and wanted a cleaner, more precise alternative to an abrasive chop saw. From the first rotation, I was impressed. After clamping the conduit in my vise, I set the cutter in place and applied light tension with the large adjustment knob. The rollers are well-machined and kept the tool perfectly square on the pipe as I began to turn it. I progressively tightened the knob about a quarter-turn with each full rotation, and the hardened cutting wheel bit into the steel with zero skipping or chattering. The T-handle provides excellent leverage, making the process smooth and controlled rather than a test of brute strength. The most critical finding was the perfect tracking of the cutting wheel. On cheaper cutters, I've seen the wheel "walk" or spiral down the pipe, resulting in a ruined cut. This cutter stayed in its initial groove flawlessly for the entire process, producing a clean, straight cut that snapped off neatly. The resulting edge required only minimal reaming to remove the small interior burr, making it immediately ready for fittings.

This pipe cutter is junk!
Don’t even think of purchasing this pipe cutter. The one I received was cheaply built and out of alignment When I tried to cut some ½” galvanized steel pipe, it just cut in a spiral, so by the time I made one full turn it was ⅛” away from the starting cut, and it would just continue getting worse as it made additional turns. Also the cutting wheel is dull and seemingly not replaceable. Why does any company go to the trouble of making something so cheap and under designed. It is worthless as a tool, even for a one time use.

Worked better than expected
This tool worked so well!! We had a metal rolling shelf that was too tall for the closet we wanted to put it in. This tool only took about 20 mins to get 4 pieces cut and assembled. The cutting itself took less than a minute. The shelving poles already had notches that I followed to make the cut so maybe a bit trickier without that I don't know. But for us it work 10x better than I expected.

Wrong size for our project
I think it will do the job of cutting if you have a lot of energy or smaller in diameter pipes. We needed to cut six 3/4" x 10' galvanized pipe into 12 pcs of 56". Yes, that's 12 times cutting. My husband and I tried to use it but we run out of energy already not finishing one cutting. Good thing my husband borrowed from his work, a big, battery-powered with blade or else we wouldn't have done the job. It's ok for small projects. Ours is for monkey bars, so it's kinda big project.

I would buy again.
cutting is not easy, probably because I am not so strong as a plumber is, but it works fine and did the job. I would buy again.

Worked great
Worked great. Needed to cut about 7" off a bicycle service stand, inner and outer pipes. Just slightly tighten the cutter wheel as you rotate the unit a few times around the pipe. Did need to file the inside of the pipe smooth afterwards.

Top, decoupe tubes d’acier creux
