Dive into the underwater world of coral reefs in this National Geographic Kids Level 2 Reader, perfect for kids who are practicing reading independently. Coral reefs are beautiful ecosystems that are essential to our oceans. Many sea animals live there, and they provide many benefits to humans, too. Learn how these underwater cities are formed, the many sea creatures that live there, and what scientists are doing to keep them alive. With bright photos and fun yet informative text, kids will enjoy exploring life under the sea. NGK Level 2 Readers are perfect for kids reading independently or with only occasional adult help. They feature longer sentences and more complex vocabulary. Looking for more Level 2 Readers for your child? There's a whole world of animals to explore! Check out: - Sea Turtles (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 2) - Sharks (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 2) - Dolphins (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 2) Review: Great series, even for toddlers! - My 2 year old LOVES this entire series of Nat. Geo Readers... I have purchased about 25 different titles, "pre-readers" as well as Level 1 & 2 readers. She loves them all & will ask for certain ones. The "pre-readers" level books are extremely simple & great because she memorizes the words & can "read" it herself. We love the more advanced ones too, because there is more information to talk about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) What a great series. The price is reasonable & pictures are great. These are really getting her interested in nature, animals & science... I will continue to buy these as they are released, for our collection! Review: Great book for littles age 4-6 - I homeschool my 4 year old, brought book to teach her about coral reefs. Beautiful pictures with nice facts that are straight to the point but not boring. Mostly kept the attention of two 4 year olds

Coral Reefs by national Geographic
This was a gift for a student who loves learning about the ocean. The reading was exactly what the student needed as a challenge that they could overcome.

Highly recommended
I love these books. I'm constantly looking for interesting nonfiction texts for my classroom. These are perfect for my third graders and they can not get enough of them. Kids are constantly coming up to me and telling me new facts that they have learned from the books in this series. Great for science, reading, social studies, history, vocabulary, etc. Highly recommended!

You can never go past these awesome National Geographic early non-fiction texts. The information is clear and well written while the images are just phenomenal and really capture the interest of children learning to read. I love these, and this one was great to learn about Coral Reefs.

Excellent learning for kids
The entire National Geographic Readers series is an excellent leaning resource for my 7 years old twins. They love reading them alone. Nice glossary at the end, easy and engaging language, lots of excellent pictures. I am connecting this reading with youtube videos so they get a better sense what the story is about. They love it
