Great little tester
Fantastic for testing the magnetic fields on door magnetic locks as well as solenoids

didnt work for my application
advertised as able to do all. but i was disappointed that they were not sensitive enough to detect hydraulic control solenoids operating or automotive relays and it became obsolete for me on the first try out when i needed it

Magnet tester
Works as intended, signals a magnetic condition on gas suppression system solenoid. Perfect, cheap and reliable.

Not working for me
I have an app on my phone for measuring magnetic field. At 23mT it isn't detecting magnetic field even though the advertise it will detect > 10mT. An isolating transformer taking 12A the magnet field on primary coil is not picked up.

Not sensitive enough
Too complicated for what I need. Keep switching the torch on by accident when turning the sensor on. The sensitivity isn’t low enough. We have older types, don’t know the name but they only light when there’s a working coil detected and at lower power than this can detect. Built well but I wouldn’t want to accidentally drop it in oil which happens a lot in my trade.

Didn't work.
Bought this as it was a magnetic one that is better for detecting the different voltages we use in work. Didn't pick up supplies in cables, or energised coils. Borrowed friends one in case i was doing something wrong (different make) his worked perfectly. Waste of money.
