Milrose 70886 Blue Monster 3/4 Inch x 1429 Inch MDPE Blue Teflon Tape (2 Pack)

I used this tape on the installation of a new hot water heater and filtration projects. It’s so good that it’s now appearing in the big box stores too, but the convenience of Amazon had me purchase here. It has worked flawlessly. You may need one or two less wraps due to the thickness. It is so much easier to work with this PTFE tape than others. I will stay where you place it, which is better than 90 percent of the competitors.

This is a bit thicker than typical white Teflon tape, requiring only half (4 wraps as opposed to 8) around most applications. I've now used this on a new hot water heater drain valve and various RO components, and it works as expected -- no leaks.

Easy to work with and delivers what it advertises. Better than the paper thing and cheap rolls.

I used this teflon tape on a 3-way shower diverter in the bathroom. It's a little wider than I needed, but that's my fault for getting the wrong one. The 1/2" would've been perfect. Anyway, the teflon tape works exactly as it's supposed to. I actually received the teflon tape several days before the 3-way shower diverter and the 1/2"-3/4" pipe adapter, and ended up misplacing the teflon tape. I tried putting everything together without the tape, but the pipe adapter (for the garden hose) had a lot of leakage. After 30 minutes of searching, I finally found it, took everything apart, applied the teflon tape, reassembled, and VOILA! - no leakage. The tape was easy to work with and apply. Two rolls is probably enough to last me a lifetime, but it was a good price compared to the smaller rolls from other sellers. This is the greatest teflon tape there is. I use it whenever I need tape on a plumbing fitting and have yet to have it fail on me. I highly recommend this product. Because of it's thickness it's also a lot easier to handle and apply to your fittings.

If you are having a problem with a leak on a teflon tape joint this will solve your problem.

This worked great on spa valves where the threads were starting to let loose.
