The brush used to be much nicer in the past.
I just received the brush in the mail, and I am a bit disappointed with it. Here are pictures of a Yasutomo CC1 that I have had for four years and the recent purchase. The quality of the brush has gone down. The bristles on the new brush are a little more than half the older brush. The width of the brush is also less. Also, the plug at the end is now plastic instead of wood. The quality of the plug does not really affect the quality of the brush, but just shows the level of attention to detail. The old brush is a really good one and well-used, which is why I decided to get another one. However, the comparison shows the quality of the new brush is poorer. Iโll update more after using it. Update: My initial review was one star, but I brought it up to three after using the brush. The bristles are good quality with a good balance between firmness and flexibility. However, the brush has to be loaded after every couple strokes because the amount of hair inthe brush is lesser than before. I am NO way an expert and just a novice, so take my review with a grain of salt. I am adding a photo of using the brush in case it gives you an idea of the brush strokes
