Very strong bond
I used this to glue tiny roller bearings into their mounting holes. As with all Loctite products I've used, it performed as advertised. The bond is excellent. I understand that it is virtually indestructible, and cannot be removed with any solvent, and the only way to undo it would be to heat the object to a very high temperature, so it's critical that the parts be perfectly aligned as soon as the compound is applied. It is expensive and does not have a long shelf life, but its reliability is worth it to me when used on critical components.

Excellent
I used this in working on an old 1847 Colt Walker percussion revolver replica to secure the base of the loose loading-lever latch in the shallow dovetail slot on the underside of the barrel (which would normally be held in place by compression). Didn't know if it would work or not due to the small contact areas, but so far it's holding as if the latch had been welded in place.

Great stuff to have around the machine shop
This stuff is amazing in the machine shop. Glue metal and then machine it? Of course!Last week I drilled an oil hole in the wrong place, possibly ruining the casting I was working on. But then enlarged the hole, reamed it to 1/8", used this Loctite to glue in a piece of 1/8" drill rod, then machined and polished everything flush--Loctite to the rescue.

Yep, it works.
This is a standard Loctite product but it is extremely hard to find. Many service manuals call out for the use of Loctite 600 retaining compound instead of thread locking compound (seen in everything from engine repair to bicycle maintenance). Loctite 600 was replace by 603 at some point but it is generally not available for retail sale like thread lock is.So this is a place where you can get it.

Is what it says it is
I used this to set my wheel bearings in a 2013 Polaris rzr. Seemed to work like it should. This is a hard product to find locally.

Real good Stick-um
If your parts have a good sliding fit, You know the kind that Pops when you pull it out and use this then the parts are in to stay as good as if welded. If you need to take it apart just heat it with a propane torch

Short Shelf Life
Very disappointed to see that the bottle I received was quite old. Henkel-Loctite says the shelf life is 2 years for their products, but once you open it then that gets cut in half. This bottle is set to expire in Sept 2020, which means if I open it then it expires in less than 4 months. Also, the title says 10EA/CASE, but I knew that couldn't be correct based on the price. Maybe the vendor can fix that too.
