Victorian Mailbox Numbers (2 inch, Soft Gold)

I needed a quick and easy way to replace faded stick-on numbers on my mailbox. The old numbers had been on my mailbox for about 2 years - I think I got them at Lowes.I bought these because reviews were positive and they sounded easy to put on. I did not get around to using them for a few weeks, but soon after I put them on my mailbox - maybe three weeks - the clear plastic part of the individual numbers yellowed and curled. Keep in mind this was done during a pretty mild summer in a temperate northern state and the mailbox is in shade most of the day to boot.These things are junk and deserve zero stars.

I’m pretty sure the description said 3 sheets of each number, but we got 4 in our package. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and the numbers came off and adhered exactly as they were supposed to do. They are beautiful, and so much nicer than the blocky numbers they had at the home supply store (in only black and gold). The white compliments our new gray mailbox perfectly.We live in humid Maryland, and have a lot of trees, so we get lichen and moldy stuff that grows after a while. My hope and expectation is that these will hold up well. They are high quality and I definitely recommend them if you want something beyond run of the mill for your mailbox!

I really wanted to use these, but had to return. Nothing wrong with them, the quality seems great. But I purchased it during late fall in Upstate NY and the instructions says that it had to be installed during temperatures greater than about 50-52 degrees. Maybe come spring time I will purchase again. Just wanted to let others know that you cannot install it during colder months. But it's super adorable to put on a mailbox, which is what I was going to do.

Not the most challenging task ever performed but next time I'll look for a pre-spaced design. Application consumed more time than necessary. The number 1 was cut almost to the left edge (3 numbers per sheet). If the designer had applied some forethought with the numeral 1 & provided markings between the numbers for uniform cutting, spacing would have been a snap. They do look nice on my new Mail Boss. Don't assume the video on the description page applies to this item re application; it doesn't in any way.

Didn't use these on a mailbox outdoors so can't speak to durability outside, but they worked great on frames to create wedding table numbers! Easy to use, minimal bubbling on application (used a credit card to smooth them on after cleaning the glass well), loved the vintage font.

Like the script, adhesion, look. One has enough numbers to complete address both sides of a mailbox. I wanted different mailbox look and got it in spades! I chose soft go!d co!or, probably should have done bolder co!or, but.....

Works exactly as represented. Seller's directions we crystal clear. Suggest Amazon remove the one bad review, as that customer clearly did not understand how to apply them.

Did not stick to mailbox, even though they said these were for the mailbox. They have no adhesive on them.
