DSM-5 Pocket Guide (Speedy Study Guides)

I have been unable to obtain the information that I thought I would be able to find in this DSM-5 Pocket guide. If you buy this for a buck, you can see what I mean. I forgot to hit the "get a refund" button soon enough, so now I'm out a buck!Silly me...

This wasn't what I was looking for and more beneficial as a printed form than a digital format....

Not at all what I was expecting...duplicated pages & very little information. Only a few disorders mentioned. Very disappointing to say the least.

Do not order this crap, its a waste. Its only about 4 pages of info and not the most useful information. One page was even blank, garbage for sure! I wouldn't even give 1 star, but they make you!

Does not have a lot of the common diagnoses, some listed are not seen much. I was hoping it would hi-lite the sections w/ general symptoms and then breakdown the most common disorders. TO me it would make it more useful as a pocket guide. If this meant more pages that would be ok, it's still easier than searching the DSM 5.

These were purchased for the office - While these are very helpful it angers me that they are so expensive - can't make enough money off us, can they!!!!! Better idea! Buy 1 and make colored copies! NOT WORTH THE EXCESSIVE MONEY!

Three of the 6 pages were the same page. Not at all an overview or notes of DSM5. So disappointing.

Easy to read, great tool to help any clinician memorize the important points to diagnosis as required by the DSM 05

The Kindle version this Speedy Study Guide is useless: it appears to have been scanned; is an image of seven, two-column pages, which cannot be manipulated into a form that makes it readable; and the text is not such searchable. I know the Kindle version seems to be a bargain, but it is frustrating, a waste of time and, frankly, a con.

The book is not at all comprehensive and is only a few pages long- more like a sample. There is no information about the main disorders and it seems to be only about intellectual disabilities.

Don’t think this is a pocket guide to DSM V. It isn’t. It doesn’t cover about 95% of disorders. It’s just a study crib for a very limited training.

Very unhappy with this purchase, doesn't even contain 50% of the DSM 5 classifications. I definitely do not reccomend this book.

Utterly rubbish, do not buy it will not help you. Well it might if you only wanted a few childhood diagnoses. It doesn’t even include depression!

It looks like it has only 7 pages and it does not look like what I thought it would be based on the title. The length is so short to contain much information. Is this a problem with electronics providing only a small portion of the book?

This is a great book and what is good about is that you can see it anytime as one can carry the book every place for it is stored in the handset.

Too expensive and too short. I was expecting a paperback pocket-book. Dissapointed. WS
