I love this thing. Currently using it on my month long journey for my morning instant coffee. Halfway full, the water, takes about three minutes to boil. Light switch turns off once complete. It’s just as simple as that. Comes with a little bag to store away after use. This thing is amazing.

This should be 4.5 stars at least, but there is not that option. Its great, just not perfect. This is really more of a note than a fault. It is clearly defined as 120 Volt only, and I bought it as such. I travel very frequently for work. Mostly domestic, but occasionally international. I wish that this super compact boiler/coffee pour over could be dual voltage. I take this to work 90 percent of the time, but for the other 10 percent I have to have a different travel kettle that is slightly larger, but dual voltage. It works well, boils fast for a travel device, and is easy to clean. I would recommend for any and all domestic travels.

This item was a recommend on a travel site. I just took it with me on a trip to Yellowstone so I could try it in the hotel there. I'm impressed. Seriously. What a great little kettle to have. It took up very little room in my bag. It's not heavy. And it works great. The water heats up really fast. I'm really happy with this purchase.

After recently reading in several different travel blogs lately that in-room kettles are being used to clean underwear - 🤮 - I decided to invest in a travel kettle. Because frequently, the in-room coffee machines are pretty gross, and even if they look clean, the water always tastes like coffee. As a tea drinker who brings her own teabags when she travels, that's always a disappointment. (And usually, if the hotel has hot-water carafes, the water also tastes like coffee.) When this arrived in the mail, and I showed it to my husband, he immediately bought a travel pour-over rig, since he loves his pour-over coffee. I got to use it on a recent trip, and we both easily made tea and coffee in our hotel room - my tea tasted like my tea should, and my husband didn't have to settle for whatever coffee the hotel had available. We're both very pleased and this will definitely be part of our travel gear going forward! This packs into a relatively compact disk, and actually comes with a bag that labels it as a collapsible travel kettle, so if TSA is going through your bag, it's clear what it is. It is pretty easy to rinse out - I boiled several kettles to make sure any initial smells/tastes were rinsed out, and my first cup tasted fine. And upon our return, I did the recommended clean of a 1:2 vinegar:water ratio clean - you boil and let it sit for 12 hours, then wipe it clean - and the hard water stains came right up. I'll probably have to boil another kettle or two of water to get the vinegar smell out completely, but that's fine. It is a little difficult to wipe out though, and I'm saying that as someone with smaller-than-average hands! While the kettle itself does turn off, you do have to remember to physically turn the switch to off. As long as you make it a habit, it's a small quibble. I do wish the cord was a bit longer, but it's pretty standard so I may just buy a longer one. A bit harder to be compact, but easier use, I think, with more give in the length. But otherwise? Two big thumbs up. It's very nice to not be worried about the cleanliness of an in-room kettle, and to have our preferred morning/evening brews just the way we like them!

I was so excited to get this for an upcoming international trip next week. I read thru the instructions, noted how to change the power (110 vs 220) on the bottom of the unit - very easy and clear. Triple checked to make sure it was correct. It worked! I noted you need to UNPLUG it after use and turn the power button OFF, which I immediately did before even pouring the water. The water was way too hot for my liking, so I wanted to heat water this morning to time how long to heat it rather than waiting for the light to go off, which indicates it has reached max temp. I tried to plug it into the same outlet I used last night when it worked, and there was a HUGE pop. Not knowing if it was the device or the outlet I tried, so I tried another outlet - exact same HUGE pop. Note that I only TOUCHED the outlet, didn’t even get the prongs in at all for either outlet. Since my lights now went out, I went to the power panel, and the breakers had flipped. I double-checked to make sure the power switch was set to off and the power source was set to 110, both were correct per instructions. No water got on the outside of it in my first use. I simply turned it off and unplugged it - that’s it. Very disappointed and returning, but no time to replace it before we leave.

It's so cute, easy to use, heats quickly to boiling and folds up and fits into the little carry bag. Just took it on a girls' trip and loved having hot tea in the hotel room. Love the color, too!
