Not a garbage bag like the kites of my youth, really nice (nylon?) sail fabric in vivid colors, with a long streaming tail. I've never flew a diamond kite before but had heard they were harder than a delta kite - nope. Thing jumped into the air and splayed out all 300 feet of line with very little wind. I need more string! Great kite, easy to assemble - just remember the sticks DON'T Face you when you're flying it and tie the string to the string loop - not the plastic loop that holds the sticks. That was a 3 minute delay when we got to the park. Whoopsie! My three year old and six year old were both able to get it into the air. Talk about wholesome family entertainment.

Kids insisted we tried it the day it was delivered, regardless of the 42 degree weather. We've only used it the one time so far(delivered yesterday), but the kids love it! All 3 of our older kids(ages 3, 4, and 5) were able to hold onto the handle and fly the kite themselves once we got it in the air for them. It only took literally 2 mins for me to put it together and seems to be fairly sturdy. It did take 2 or 3 nose dives from pretty high up and has no damage. My only complaint would be its tricky to twist the string around the notches of the handle in a way that actually holds the string in place so the kite doesn't keep getting higher. I haven't flown a kite in probably 2 decades though so it might just be the way I'm trying to do it.

This kite is darn close to fully assembled when it comes. The fabric is heavy duty nylon, as is the tail, and the string is a good quality also although it starts to tangle after it's flown a few times if you're not careful putting it back on the spindle. Topping it off is the ease it goes up. I am no master kit flyer. In fact, I probably hadn't flown one in 40 years or more. But the first time out, I simply held the kite up, the wind caught it, and away it went until the string was all played out. It looks beautiful up in the air and is also easy to see. The only weird part was that when I didn't have the string played all the way out, it did kind of crash near some people, but I think that was me not paying attention. Highly recommend.

This kite was disappointing. It was somewhat difficult to assemble and the instructions could be improved. One of the rods tore through one of the corner pockets , so now I have to use duck tape to hold it together. Tried to fly it in a slight breeze, but it would not fly. Got it cheap on a lighting deal, so got what I paid for. Going to trash it and buy a better quality kite. As an addendum, the company made quite an effort to correct my issue. They are sending me a replacement plus another kite model without me asking for any compensation. I have not received them yet, but the best thing I could say is the company will stand behind there product.

This was my first flight with a kite in over 60 years, and the very first time for my grandson. It was epic, and this product was the perfect match for both of us: easy-to-follow instructions, complete collection of parts (including tether string), and sufficiently rugged material for our use. Highly recommended

So let me start by saying this company is super professional and great to work with. I purchased the first kite in July. I was not happy with it because we just could not get it to fly after several attempts. I did not give it a good rating… so the company reached out to me in order to have me be a satisfied customer. They replaced the kite at no cost to me in a very timely fashion. They had genuine concern over my disappointment. The end result… a beautiful airborne experience . The second kite is awesome. It went up right away and my granddaughter was thrilled. I would purchase again from them in a flash.

This is quite a story ... my husband lost control of this kite today. He ran after it, the kite lifted, and the handle got caught in the upper branches of a tree. The kite then flew solo for over five hours, all by itself. At one point we left to go home to get warmer jackets, and came back. It was still flying. We left again after an hour to go home and have dinner. Returning after dark, it was still airborne. Hours later, we came back again and it had finally landed in a tree and we retrieved it. My husband said, "If I was flying this kite, it would have taken a nosedive hours ago." The tree branch kept aloft for more than FIVE hours, maybe more. It's an exceptional kite.

Shipping was just fine from seller. Colors are bright and it is a great size. While I didn't expect much for the price, I did have quite an issue with the build quality. The cross members were way too long and required a hacksaw to make them fit. Once they did, after 10 minutes the member burst through the fabric cup holding the kite to the member. The stitching was coming out on most of them. It is possible to "fix" this by using some superglue along all the sticking of the cups at the four corners of the kite. This will help but I can't imagine this will stand up..

A really good kite to use with your children. I was Definitely skeptical when choosing a kite, since using they are cheap and flimsy and don't work. This kite does work very well and withstand stronger winds without breaking.

Big, colorful, easy to assemble, well made. Haven't tried to fly but confident it will be good.

This kite is amazing. After going through a few kites that would always nosedive to the ground and not get very high in the air, this kite came to the rescue. It lifts into the air easily, my kids can do it on their own. It flies beautifully! ❤️
