I recommend this product!
Let's face it, when it comes to Amazon reviews, the only thing that matters for customers are either 5-star (recommend) or 1-star (avoid) reviews; it simply boils down to if a legitimate purchaser of an item can confidently recommend a product or advise future purchasers against wasting their money. With that said, after steadily making use of this item for weeks, I can firmly say I do recommend this product! Not much else to say other than it's a solid midi cable that gets the job done!

Works as expected
There's no delay and all the midi notes register properly, I'm using it to connect an Alesis nitro kit to a Scarlett 18i8 3rd gen interface.

good quality MIDI cables
I ordered a few of these cables but have only opened one so far, and have only used it a couple of times. Nevertheless I've used a lot of cables in my life and these have the look and feel of quality products. The connectors are solid and well-molded. They have good strain reliefs. The cable jacket is thick enough that it should be able to stand up to regular use. The cables are thick and comfortably pliable without being wimpy. Unless there's some hidden weakness that I can't spot from the outside I fully expect these to last me for decades.

It's a long run midi cable that was folded not coiled
This is a standard complaint, I know, but manufacturers of cables should understand, by now, that folding a cable back and forth is not the way to package properly.Maybe it's cheaper to do it wrong , but I'd be willing to pay the extra .2 cents it would cost them to do it right.I have the cable I just bought wrapped around a can and cooling from being heated with a hair dryer so that it will wrap over-under properly and lay down smooth when in use. That cost me more than .2 cents ( that's one tenth of my two cents! ) and some time...

Solid cable for the price
I am using this for a foot switch for my guitar amplifier. Well built, no extraneous noise, cable is flexible. I stretched it out in the sun for a few hours, and then stored it in smaller loops in my gig bag.
