cuberspeed YJ MGC 5X5 M stickerless Speed Cube MGC Magnetic 5X5X5 Cube Puzzle

My first 5x5 was a moyu because it was only like $8. But I started liking 5x5 and wanted to try magnetic. I had speed cubes 12 years ago and magnetic did not exist. This 5x5 was my first magnetic cube and it did not disappoint! It turns so smooth and very fast! I am not a speed cuber just casual cuber!

Received yesterday. Surprising that we can get a magnetic 5x5 at this price point.This is my first magnetic 5. Besides this I have two other 5x5s, one is a MoYu. I finally bought this recently when the price dropped a little. To be honest I thought this would be about equal to my other 5s. I didn't expect it to quickly become my favorite.After more than 30 solves so far, I can already tell I'm faster with it than with my other 5s. As you move up in the numbers from a 3x3, aligning each turn becomes more work. The magnetics make this cube easier and much more fun to turn. Spending less effort aligning the slices means I can actually think more quickly and get moves done faster.The only thing I think is a small drawback is that--out of the box--the pieces have a slightly waxy feel to them, which makes the cube feel slippery in the hands.I'm sure there are a number of more expensive cubes that are better than this, but for the price I think this is pretty darn hard to beat. My other 5s are going to sit on the shelf because of this one.

Smooth and buttery to turn, magnets are nice and strong.

I haven't used a 5x5 in yeas, the technology has improved significantly. the old ones were slow and would pop easily. the MCG is less expensive and much faster than anything I've ever used. it broke in quickly, I didn't bother with lube, it seemed to get smoother after 5 or 6 solves.

This cube is superb. The quality is fantastic. The glossy surface feels good in the hands. The turns are crisp and snap to position with ease. A screw driver and extra magnets and springs are a fun bonus. I don’t write reviews but I had to offer accolades for this amazing product. I can’t find a single fault and I will be upgrading my 3x3x3 and 4x4x4 to this brand.

Good performance for a budget speed cube and worth the money, if you don't know which cube to get and are worried you might regret buying a certain cube, this one won't disapoint.

Cube is very smooth. Magnetic makes it more enjoyable to play.
