Deadly
The kink in these hooks give bait (or plastic worms) a twisting action that fish find irresistible. The fish bite and those legendary Mustad hooks grab and don't let go. I believe these were originally designed for walleye, but they work equally well for trout, kokanee or any fish that goes for worms or minnows.A word of warning: Be sure to use a ball chain swivel with these hooks - a simple single swivel (even a ball bearing swivel) won't do the job. You'll end up with line twist.I saw a video about these on the web and thought, "What the heck, they aren't too expensive". Turned out to be one of the best "What The Hecks" I've ever had.Buy 'em.

Perfect for trolling night crawlers for bass, trout, kokanee, kings, crappie, blue gill
these are great. I use a #4 for trout and fresh water. However - S p o r t c o is cheaper and has the red ones for the same price as the bronze ones.

Sharp and Effective
I used these on a couple fishing trips this summer and I really like how they performed in a Lindy Rig set up. The minnow or nightcrawler had good movement in the water and I caught plenty of nice walleyes. Minimal missed hook sets, too. Will definitely keep using in this set up.

Not great for shad…
Didn’t keep hold of the bait very well…you won’t some and you lose some.

Very sharp, great hooks
Work great with worms while trolling. The red paint will chip off over time but can easily repair with a little red nail polish. Very sharp and nearly every strike leads to a fish to the boat.

The eye isnt closed and line slips out.
I was using these over a brush pile I would get a bite and when bringing into boat the fish would fall off with hook in mouth. I realized hook was in mouth of fish and loop wasn’t broken.
