This one definitely feels like a step above the basic filters you find at the auto parts store. Installation was straightforward — threads lined up perfectly, no leaks, and the gasket seated cleanly. I’ve run it for a full oil cycle now, and everything has been smooth. Oil pressure stays consistent, and the engine seems to run a bit cleaner overall. It’s also compatible with a wide range of vehicles, which is a nice bonus if you’re buying for multiple cars. It is a little pricier than the standard WIX filters, but considering it’s built specifically for synthetic oil and tougher conditions, I think it’s worth the extra few bucks. These no longer use the fully synthetic white fiter media and are instead a synthetic blend. Manufacturing is in Mexico but I saw one cut open and quality was solid. I personally wouldn't treat it like a Purolator Boss, but for general use it's probably comparable to a Purolator One if you're shopping deals for a standard oil change.

Best once a year extended oil interval filters on the market ! I did my research , use with a high quality extended synthetic oil . If your less then 24000 km a year perfect !

Wix 51348XP. Its a Wix, no need to say more really. I use this model in 4runner 3.0 and Previa. Fits many other Toyotas. What I am imoressed with WIx is these filters will clean old oil so it almost appears new. THat is to say, when doing an oil change theres always old residual dark oil remaining. These Wix filters turn darker fresh oil into clear as hony, hard to see on dipstick.
