Detroit Axle - Front Brake Kit for 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla Matrix

I installed this Detroit Axel break kit and I'm very pleased with the results. The retorts and brake pads fit perfectly,and installation was straightforward.Breaking is smooth, quiet,and responsive with no vibrations or unusual noise. The quality is excellent for the price.

Excellent brake kit with everything needed for a complete front brake replacement. The rotors and ceramic pads fit perfectly on my Nissan Altima and the braking performance feels smooth and quiet. No vibration, no squeaking, and stopping power is much better than before. Great quality for the price and shipping was fast. Very satisfied with this purchase.

These brake kits are built with excellent quality and truly live up to the claim of exceeding OEM specifications. The rotors and pads have a solid fit and finish, and the stopping power is noticeably improved. I also appreciate the 10‑year warranty and the fact that the components undergo impact, wear, and fatigue testing — it shows in the durability and overall feel. One thing that wasn’t mentioned in the product description is that a special tool is required to compress the caliper piston during installation. It’s not a big deal, but it would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Fortunately, I was able to rent the tool from AutoZone for free, and once I had it, the installation went smoothly. Overall, these brakes are great quality and a solid upgrade — just be aware you may need that extra tool for the job.

I used these as a cheap set of replacement rotors and pads for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I paid 83.00 for my set(lots of pricing variations depending on the set selected), which is an amazing deal for 2 rotors and a set of ceramic pads. When I ordered, I was a bit hesitant and the ridiculously low price...so much that I was worried I was going too cheap. But these brakes surprised me. The came over quickly (sent from the seller overnight via FedEx). At 30lbs, I am not sure how they even made a profit on these. For my review - these are sor of mid ranged rotors, nothing I would use on a high performance car. But for the price, they are amazing. More than half what they would have cost me at a local parts store. They were easy to install, precise (in how they fit) and the pads came with the appropriate hardware to reinstall. I did read some reviews stating they were noisy, so I was a little hesitant based off the price that they would be, but the ones I got were not. Sometimes not greasing the parts correctly can cause the brakes to "squeal", so I wonder if that is the issue others experienced? If so, just grab a YouTube video of how to properly grease the caliper parts and you should be good. Other reviews mentioned rust, but this are cast iron and are expected to and it is considered normal wear and tear (the pads themselves keep the contact areas free from rust, but the other areas that is par for the course with this type). I think if you are looking for rust free types, you'll want to look more at ceramic coated instead of cast iron. Parts are solid and an amazing value. If using for a cheap replacement, I cannot recommend these enough.

500 miles and so far so good. No vibrations, and fit was good. Does seem as though the pads take a little bit longer to bed int the rotor than other brands of pads.

I can't beat the quality for the price! Perfect fitment on 2013 RAV4 LE and a breeze to install. Replaced rotors, pads and calipers all from Detroit Axle and couldn't be happier with the stopping power. Highly recommend!

I got these for my work car. I didn’t want to spend $200 plus at an auto parts store. They installed some what easy. I felt the pads were a little tight to get slide on. From previous experience they should slide on a little better. Other than that they seemed fairly good. I’m going to see how they wear compared to the brand name brakes. If I was keeping this car for a while I would have bought the pads at the auto part store so I would have life time warranty on them. But if you’re on a bit of a budget these will work good and I’m sure they will hold up for a bit.

I have installed 2 sets of Detroit Axle brakes and they work fine. The rotors go on with little effort and the brake pads fit perfectly. They are very quiet - make sure you lube the pad ears so that they slide in the caliper bracket. I'm really impressed with the stopping power given that they are ceramic pads, they stop as good as organic fiber pads. Really amazing given the low price. I put them on 2 of my cars so buy with confidence.

What can I say but they’re better than OEM because they are cheaper… Absolutely no difference, zero.. These are my now-go-to parts guys. I’ve been pleasantly surprised from Detroit Axle from Rotors, front end parts etc 👍 keep up the quality..

2016 corolla fit perfectly and been going strong for a year . No noise great deal

Purchased on May 2nd. Delivered may 3rd and installed on my car. By June 30th nothing sides front were worn down to absolutely nothing!! I am not thay hard of a breaker!!!
