Daily Reading Comprehension (Daily Practice Books, Grade 5)

My grandson is in second grade but reading at fifth grade. He is enjoying these short exercises that encompass a wide variety of reading materials. It takes him about five minutes to do one. Very pleased with the reading samples and the skills taught!

This worbook has daily activities, varied in length and type of response, to help students learn more about comprehension and the skills needed to be an effective reader. The book is a good resource for review, for working with special needs students, and practicing for any one of the national or state tests that are given each year.

This is a very useful tool for the test prep for all my students. I originally bought this for my students who were struggling but found myself using it as a quick warm up activity daily.

I ordered this to use in my classroom next school year, but I have used it in tutoring this summer. It is a great resource to have and I love that the passages are short and there are four multiple choice questions and one "think about it" question.

EXCELLENT book, very informative and well organized. It helps kids acquire lots of general knowledge while learning reading skills. It encourages kids to think in order to answer questions.

We used Daily Reading Comprehension all summer to keep our student thinking and learning for a few minutes each day. Our son's confidence rose and his fear of reading comprehension challenges reduced. He now views reading comprehension style exercises as a game so he embraces strategies that allow him to win.

Great product. It's helped my child prepare for the Virginia SOLs. My straight A student child uses this book daily as a supplement to his public school work. It's done wonders to improve my child's reading comprehension.
