I use lens wipes at least once a day on my glasses. Up until this point, I had been using just one brand that starts with a “Z”. They worked great, but since I was using them 2+ times a day, I go through them pretty quickly. That started my journey to see if I could find a new brand that worked just as well, but were more cost effective. Blue Merlin won that challenge! These things are great. They clean my glasses quicker, and just as good (if not better) than the others. It might have something to do with the texture of these wipes or the amount of moisture on them. Whatever it is, they’re quicker and more thorough cleaning than the other brands. The fact that they’re cheaper is a huge bonus. Love these things!

My new frames are big - constantly smudged. I’m guessing it’s the new materials they make lenses out of because it’s impossible to clean them on your shirt in a pinch. All the smudge. Be sure to read the directions on how to use it. Seems straight forward, but if you follow what it says, you’ll get streak-free results.

The wipes are literally dripping when opened and would leave droplet marks on the lenses if used right away. I usually wait a bit for the cleaning liquid to evaporate before I use it on glasses, or wipe twice. 90% of my need for this product is cleaning my glasses, hence the less than 5 star rating. Having said that, the extra liquid is good when wiping large surfaces, e.g. wide-screen monitors, TVs etc. Other brands tend to dry up half-way through.

Amazon used to sell a very good box of lens wipes. They were kind of expensive but they got the job done very well so they were the only ones I would buy. However they stopped selling them and I tried quite a few other wipes but I was never satisfied. They were either too moist or too dry. I stopped buying them and just started using a damp tissue. I decided to try again and I ordered a box of Blue Merlin Lens Wipes and I have to say, they’re perfect! Not too wet and not too dry. And actually they cost less than the other wipes I used to buy.

I love these wipes. They not only clean but seem to recondition the lens. I'm very happy with this purchase. The only draw back is (in the desert of Arizona) they seem to dry out a little quickly....so once you unfold one act fast!

They work nicely; perhaps with a little bit of lint left over, but blowing on the glass and it's gone. It does the job. They are not terribly moist, so we'll see how they rest hold up in the next few months (I bought the 200 count package). I'll update the review if needed. Update: 4 months later I'm to my last few wipes. I wear glasses on a daily basis and I have children. Combine those two and you need to have them handy. They vary in wetness, unfortunately, most were not moist enough. Consulting with my lenses manufacturer they said "the wetter the better", otherwise, with each cleaning you damage your lenses and any special treatments you got for them (tinting, anti-reflective, etc.). I'll have to find some that do the job better. I don't want to have to order new glassess every few months; I'd rather just pay a little more for the wipes. They offer a money-back guarantee, but I'm not sure how we'd contact them for that. I'll check the box and may try; depending on success, I'll update this review.

These are awesome! I am always looking for good products to use on my sunglasses and screens. These are hands down the best on the market. They are completely wet with cleaning fluid in tightly sealed packets. The package is sturdy, so I can leave it in my pocket without it getting punctured. They leave 0 lint on my lenses or screens. They are also gentle and will not ruin the film on my Maui Jims. The box is the perfect size to leave anywhere. I left a bunch in my car and gave my girlfriend a ton because she always gets her glasses dirty. She loves them so much she got them for her mom for Christmas!

These are way better than the "Care Touch" and "Care Check" brand of wipes that are also available on Amazon. These wipes are thicker so they hold more liquid. I live at high elevation and had to hurry fast before the other wipes would dry out or half dry out and start smearing (like 30-45 sec window). The extra thickness holds more fluid and I can take my time. Never buying those other brands again. They suck compared to this one and are at a similar price. Like the others, two packets are joined together but they seem a lot easier to break apart in multiples rather then one-by-one. A minor thing but also better.
