Ties were not long enough
The ties were very short, probably 10"To tie properly they would need to be three times as long. May have to add buttons to work well, but not a traditional look for the costume.

was that the sash on the side is relatively short and it's hard to get that pretty long tailed bow that I was looking for
I bought this for a Belle cosplay for a con. It was just a smidge too long for the dress I was wearing so my mom and I hemmed it up a little with some stitch witch. Personally, not a huge fan of the pleating in the front, it bubbles out a bit near the top and that bugs me. A bigger problem, to me, was that the sash on the side is relatively short and it's hard to get that pretty long tailed bow that I was looking for. Once we get my mom's sewing machine out of storage I may just adjust it so that it closes with a hook-eye and then make a long pretty bow to attach or clip to it. Otherwise, great purchase and one that will work for any number of costumes!

Apron is good just watch the tie in the back
This apron is exactly as the pic shows. I will tell the tie part around back could be a little longer. Im not a skinny girl. Im 5' 2" and weigh 225 lbs. I had enough to tie the apron but there was nothing left hanging once a tied it. It worked for sure but that is something that us bigger girls need to know.

OK BUT DISAPPOINTING
Purchased this apron to complete a colonial outfit to conduct tours in an 1800s house. Although there's not much fit to an apron, the ties are very short. I'm a size 14 and I can barely make a tiny bow. The material is obviously a polyester. I was hoping it would look more like cotton. There are no pockets which is at times inconvenient. I've found it difficult to find colonial attire that's inexpensive but not costumey looking. For now it will work. Guess I'll have to make my own to get what I'm looking for.

This apron was perfect for my son's pioneer field trip, I attended. I didn't give five stars because the material was a little thinner then expected.

The ties are not too long, I am a size 6. It could be a problem for someone a little larger. I could not tie in a bow, I had to knot it.

It was what we needed for a school costume. The apron strings are a bit short, however, and barely tied in the back.

The ties are very short and unfinished edge. Fine for Puritan who would pin overlapping but not enough to make any kind of bow. Waistband is slightly gathered. Very nice material.
