Kenmore Hammond 14-Inch Flat Bottom Carbon Steel Wok, Black, Durable Non-Stick Stir Fry Pan for Gas and Electric Stovetops

The pot has proper surface treatment, it is very important for uses. I bought another the same pot but no surface treament before I bought this one. It was terrible. There was a lot of rust after the first time use. The rust cannot be clearly cleaned. This means we have to eat the rust along with our foods. It is terrible for our health. We had to throw it away and buy the one with surface treatment on Amzon.com. The pot with surface treatment is always clean without any rust. We like this one.

Love my new wok! It's nonstick so NO seasoning needed! I have an electric stove so I don't have the high heat of gas...no problem! I tried a fried egg first and not only did it not stick, bc of the height of the side walls, no splatters on my stove top! Made fried rice and it was easy to use, came out great!

I haven’t noticed any defects or issues. It meets the purpose I bought it for. It is also durable.

For the price, this is a good wok. Unfortunately, the Teflon-like coating does scratch off easily. I took the advice of someone in the question/answer section and used a wire brush attachment on my drill to sand the inner coating down to bare steel. To keep it from rusting. I applied avocado oil to the inside and baked it upside down in a 500 degree oven for 45 minutes. Note: the long handle unscrews, so you can take it off prior to baking. Unfortunately, the handle on the other side is not removable. I covered it in aluminum foil but the short handle turned black anyway. Although it took a little time to fix it, I like it now and I use it all of the time. I removed a star because it wasn’t serviceable from the factory.

COMPLETE JUNK!! After less than five months of normal use, the bottom coating started scraping & peeling off. This wok is cheaply made & clearly not built to last. What makes it worse is Amazon's customer service. Even though Amazon sold the produce, they refused to stand behind it or offer any meaningful help or solution when it failed prematurely. SAVE your money & buy a better quality wok elsewhere. This wok definitely deserves "0" stars!!

This wok was just what the description says: deep enough for large meals, not too heavy, heats evenly, and cleans up easily too. Use your favorite recipes and follow the instructions for cleaning. You can’t go wrong with this one! I gave it to my daughter and her husband for Christmas and they’ve already used it multiple times. This is a good quality pan that will last you for years.

I have been wanting a wok for some time now. I bought this one based on the price point and reviews. I am so happy with my purchase. I made a variety of rice Krispie treats - like several batches where I had to wash the pan between each batch (made 6 different flavors) and when I tell you, clean up was a breeze. Every time, the sticky goo did not stick and was easy to clean...allowing me a quick turn around to start a new batch. The pan is made of really great materials. It has a little weight to it. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to do some fried rice or something!
