H2O Vibe Waterproof 3.5mm Stereo Earphones with Inline Remote & Microphone

I love these. I've used them for a while and they work well and have a good speaker. I accidently put them in the wash and they still worked after that!

It great to have earphones I can use underwater. I listen to audio books in the bath, now I don't have to pause when my head is in the water. One star was lost because one ear bud is a little louder than the other. I have not used the mic.

...these are the worst headphones I have EVER listened to. The $5 throwaways I buy for my kids at Target or receive as free giveaways sound better than the tin can sound these things produce. Absolutely awful. They seem very cheaply made and I do not see them holding up long in the water, but I'll update this if they do. The H20Audio waterproof headphones have a MUCH better build quality and sound. They still don't last very long in the water (particularly after salt water use) but they are leaps and bounds better than this steaming pile.Don't buy them. I know they're only $12, but they're not worth $1.

I was very excited to receive this, along with a sleeve for my iPod touch. We have a pool, so I spend a lot of time relaxing on a float. It gets old swimming to the side of the pool to change songs, so I wanted to be able to waterproof things.Out of the box, they worked great. The earbud part is a little big (I have little ears) but they worked fine. I tested out the button, and was happy that it worked like the iPod earbuds with a remote button. I got in the pool, listened to music for a while, then wanted to pause the song, and realized the button was broken. I've made arrangements to return this, and will read reviews and decide if I want to try again with this kind, or go with another brand.Sound is great, and I didn't notice any difference between these and other non-waterproof ones I have, so I didn't rate them less stars.For the money these were great. If I just had them plugged into my iPod and could use the iPod controls (with a waterproof case, it's hard to change songs) I'd keep them. Because I picked this pair especially for the remote button, I'll return them.

I'm a bicycle messenger and wear earbuds close to 6 hours a day, with constant movement. The first pair I received worked really well, I thought after lasting through a couple torrential rainstorms, but the mic (it's always the mic that fails) died after about 4 months. The second pair I purchased lasted two weeks before the mic failed. At around $10 per pair, I'm not too upset, but just wish something could be done about the constant mic failures, leading to a wasteful replacement cycle.

This is not a bad set of headphones overall.On the plus side, they fit very comfortably in the ear and are really not prone to falling out if you use the proper sized sleeve. I use the largest size, which also helps keep ambient noise out, as well as excess water. The cables are well-made and the jack fits perfectly.On the downside, the sound quality is a little "tinny" sounding. I will mainly use it to liosten to podcasts, so sound quality is not as important as if I were listening to music. My first set of water-proof ear-buds were over $50, so I expected much lesser quality from these. But they're worth the price you're paying.
