I am not a technical guy but found them relatively easy to fit without issue and have had no problems ...
Had this for a few weeks now . at first had an issue with noise from the band which gave the impression of rubbing and slightly uneven pull Also one of the footrests kept moving and slipping off the machine .I rang the helpline and spoke to a really helpful chap in English who sent me a selection of spares . I am not a technical guy but found them relatively easy to fit without issue and have had no problems since .I connected the device to my phone and a tablet via the appThere is a bit of a knack to it but once connected it works fine allowing clear concise measurement of progress and saving of previous stats. I find the lower settings good for warm up and at level 24 yes ( yes there are 24 levels of resistance ) it provides a good workout . It feels like a quality product and I am very pleased with my purchase

Rower SP-MR-009-iE and Bike SP-HT-9500-E-B
purchased both the Rower SP-MR-009-iE and the Bike SP-HT-9500-E-B. I chose these because they both use the same computer and the same app developed by the supplier. Both machines work well though more Hyundai than Mercedes (they are probably like everything else made in Korea). Both are mains powered and the transition in resistance (either from a provided programme or your own, your heart rate or simply manual) is smooth.I am 1.80m and I find the bike only just large enough - taller and you might be better of with the larger bike. The rower would easily suit a larger person. The app gives a good visual representation of the various workout parameters (I use an iPad) - better than LCD screens. I use both machines with a Wahoo Tickr X - the rower has no built in heart monitor, and those on the bike handlebars are a bit eratic. It can be a bit tricky to connect both the machine and the heart monitor to the app.The app does have some bugs, though none is fatal, eg I could not get the Map to work, History only stores the last week's workouts. Calories are counted very differently in each machine, the bike recording three to four times that of the rower for similar effort - probably related to the energy generated by the flywheel. If you have a problem, customer service is prompt and helpful. The app seems to undergo periodic upgrades which hopefully will see improvements in the future.

Resistance is horrible
Just far too weak for me, I don’t know if I’m just the wrong kind of build for this but it just doesn’t offer anything near the resistance I wanted. Probably my fault but this is not cheap. Some parts came broken (the plastic covers were cracked from transit I assume).

Very good machine but the Cadio App is useless
The machine itself is robust and a good workout. The Bluetooth compatibility and App are totally useless. (used this with a Sportsplus heart-strap) Unfortunately this means the cardio programs and fat burning programs don't provide any useful data or feedback. So it's a great rowing machine but you probably need to buy something additional to track heartrate and calorific burn.

Great machine, I connected it to my phone for more programmes and the app allows calories burned etc to be more personal to your height and weight. The machine itself is brilliant and the levels are great no matter what your fitness level , would def recommend

Height, Leg length and Creak fix
SportPlus SP-MR 008 (white) / SP-MR 008 B (black)I bought the white version during the peak of the CoVid lockdown – my third choice after two UK suppliers let me down. Latupo GmbH Germany (SportPlus) communicated well from the outset and I took delivery three weeks after ordering and just two days beyond their longest forecast delivery estimate. My details for context are: Height 185cm, Weight 89kg Leg length 79cm. A long time retired rugby player 'now' using a local gym six times a week including one session with a personal trainer doing HIITs. After the resistance work typically finish with cardio including rowing machine (Concept 2) 5 reps of 30:30s splits on max 10 for about 150m distance.SportPlus recommend max user height as 6ft but leg length's probably more important because at 88cm the track length is shorter than the 110cm of their SP-MR-009-iE (which also has more tension settings and a better computer). Some official reviewers seem to mix up the specs of these models which makes me wonder if they actually ever had one in their possession. For me, at full leg extension and wearing trainers the seat rollers are 10cm short of the end stops so theoretically should be ok for users with leg length 89cm. If you were desperate you could even extend the run another 4 cm by removing the end stops. It takes one person about an hour to unbox and assemble the machine at a steady pace and this is generally straightforward. The seat is quite near the floor so I slide it back up to its highest point before sitting on it. The foot pedals and straps are basic and ample. As with all of the frame, the pedal mount is box section steel tube and very sturdy. A slight ‘clunk’ in the fixing turned to a creaking squeak after a few days. I removed the pedal mount and pedals to find the paint had been worn away at the points of friction. To shim this out I wound four bands of fabric duct tape each of three turns around the removed pedal bar either side of the two bolt holes and greased the bolts and friction points. The seat motion is very smooth. One reviewer said that the rowing tension/friction was far too weak. Either their machine was faulty or they were on steroids. OK it’s been more than a month since I’ve been to the gym but level 8 on the SportPlus seems to exceed the Level 10 on the Concept 2. As I’m building fitness back up I tend to use it on Level 6 to get the pull through/catch of the 8kg Flywheel. I’m currently doing about 80m (0.08km) distance for my splits so its computation is not in line with the Concept 2.The Computer counter functions on cord/tape pulled through not on seat position. The readouts including timer are additive ie they stop when you stop rowing and continue when you continue. For HIIT there’s no specific facility for timing intervals. It’s not mentioned in the instructions but a long press of the reset button resets all the functions at once. Otherwise they reset individually. It is possible to wirelessly (5kHz) link an optional Heart Rate monitor to the display computer so I wondered if my fitness watch could sync with it in REALTIME to give the HR on the display but this thinking seems too futuristic for most if not all rowing machine/fitness watch combinations at the moment. The experience is different with the quietness of this model seeming quite strange after the fan of the Concept 2 but I have to say it is very worthwhile. My star rating is based on value for money and the efficiency of the seller.
