Kids love using this on our farm to call the birds. My boys are 3 and 2 and my 3 year old loves to use it by himself. After watching his big brother my 2 year old has a great go at it too and it just adds a bit more excitement to a walk with adventurous boys!

Well packaged make someone a lovely present. I've listened to a few birdsongs and had a bit of a practice nearly there just a few more tweets and I'll have someone to talk to and might even find a partner!.

Pretty good. More a squeaky toy than a sophisticated bird caller, but nice design and looks good too.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this, but it’s actually pretty interesting. It’s a very simple wooden bird call, and once you get the hang of it, it does a decent job of mimicking bird sounds. It takes a bit of practice to get consistent sounds out of it—at first it just sounded squeaky—but after watching a quick video and messing with it for a while, it started to sound much better. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, and the red gift pack makes it feel like a nice little novelty item or stocking stuffer. Not something I use every day, but it’s fun to mess with outside. Overall, a cool little nature gadget if you’re into birds or just want something different to try.

Einfach ein tolles, spaßiges, und durch die minimalistische Technik, interessantes Produkt. Funktioniert einwandfrei, und ist äußerst robust. Eine klasse Erfindung! Handhabung: Entweder den Holzkörper (rot) oder den Metallring festhalten, und die andere Komponente mit mehr oder weniger Druckausübung auf das Gegenstück drehen. Durch diese Aktivität entsteht das typische Vogelgezwitscher. Die Druckausübung, sowie die Drehgeschwindigkeit und Drehdauer entscheiden über den Klang und die Lautstärke der Vogelstimme. Für jeden Waldgang, im Garten, oder auf dem Balkon, ein ‘must-have‘ ! Passt in jede Hosentasche. Nicht nur für Erwachsene geeignet. Garantiert ein super Geschenk für Kinder um ihnen die Natur mit ihrer großartigen Vogelvielfalt näher zu bringen. Hinweis: Sollte das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Pulver, welches von Zeit zu Zeit zwischen die beiden Komponenten Metall und Holz für bessere Reibung zur Klangerzeugung gestreut wird, aufgebraucht sein, bin ich der Meinung (und so handhabe ich es auch), ist handelsüblicher gemahlener Zimt eine gute alternative. Vielleicht funktioniert auch staubfein gemahlenes Salz?! Aber das habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Sollte es von Nöten sein den Vogelstimmenimitator zu reinigen, ist dies kinderleicht zu handhaben: Einfach die Schraube lösen, und schon kann man alle drei Bestandteile von einander trennen und reinigen. Das wieder zusammensetzen is ebenso einfach. Sollten Sie sich für dieses Produkt entscheiden, wünsche ich viel Freude und Spaß.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew who is really into birds. It looked like it was made well and with what u paid. He loved it so that made me happy. For a young kid he sure knows a ton about birds and how they sound.
