Battle Action Laser Tag

Great and fun product for the family and friends my kids love it. We have played it 4 days in a row for about 1-2hrs each and its still says full charge. Built quality is really good. Highly recommend a few of my coworkers are convinced and will be buying soon. Also love the different gun modes and features

Super nice laser tag set. It’s the perfect way to get the kids off their games and outside playing. This set comes with 4 guns and 4 body targets. The body targets are fully adjustable and fit younger kids and full grown adults. No assembly required. Just charge and play. Turn the gun on and point it at the body target to pair them together. Then you can either pick a team color or just solo everyone for themselves game. The gun has 4 options to shoot. You get a pistol, machine gun, laser gun and rocket launcher. Each one does a different amount of damage and has a different amount of ammo between reloads. Reloads are super easy, just smash the button on the bottom of the gun and you are good to go. Each gun has a built in green light for low visibility area. Plus you can turn the sound on/off to be more stealth. The charger using one plug and charges all 8 pieces at the same time. A great value for the cost and endless fun involved. Definitely the best laser tag set I’ve ever used.

We got two (sets of four) for our family of five. The sets pair together great - you're still only going to get a total of four possible teams, but you can easily pair vests together from another set to be on the same team (same color). Mom, Dad, and kids 14, 12, and 8 have had an absolute blast with these - they've kept charge for plenty of games in a row, so we usually wear out before the guns and vests do. Accuracy seems pretty good overall, although I always think it should be better. Instructions indicate that using them indoors can cause lasers to bounce off walls and inadvertently hit targets, but we haven't seen that happen - other than some sweet trick shots off mirrors in another room. Cons? Not many. I read in another review that resetting between games seems slightly more annoying than it should be. I agree, but honestly, I probably wouldn't have realized it had I not read that in the review. Once a game is over, each person has to power down both their gun and vest, then power back on, and reset your team and number of lives. Other than remembering your settings, this is kind of in my mind probably the best way to keep the game simple and fun. However, the screen is a tad difficult to read so you fumble around the slightest bit getting it set up - but it's something everyone from the Adults to the eight -year-old have perfected. Plus, this whole process takes you less than sixty seconds to get back up and going. Honestly, this Dad appreciates the breather between games. I was unsure on what set to get, so reviewed a handful of them and I am super happy to have gone with two of these sets which work great together. Kind of wishing there were additional components to purchase to extend game play to things like Capture the Flag, or additional sensors to place around. It has none of that - and in most ways, it's perfectly fine because it keeps it simple. That's what this set is - super simple, great fun, reliable hardware that works great and can extend to add additional sets. We're having a blast with the set and looking forward to warmer weather to play outside.

I bought this for my son for his birthday and we have had it for about a week so I can't speak to its longevity, but all the kids absolutely love it. It cost significantly more than many other laser tag systems that I looked at, but what really sold me on this one was that it has a rechargeable base and each player has three Target zones, as opposed to many other units that only have one or two. Having Target zones on your front side and back side make it significantly more fun. As an added bonus, this unit has a lot of features that the players can customize like the sounds and colors. Despite the higher cost I definitely think it's worth it and would purchase again.

I bought these for our church youth group. We haven’t played yet. The packaging is slick! Very nice, high quality, full color illustrations and secure packing. The guns have all the bells and whistles. They feel great in your hand, and the reload button being where the clip would be is a cool and satisfying touch. I wish the vest were more of a vest. It’s just a sensor strapped to your chest. I expect it’ll be easy for kids to his the sensor with their gun/arms, even if they don’t intend to cheat, but especially off they do. A deluxe vest option would be nice, with a back sensor and shoulder sensors, and maybe a sensor on the gun, too. Setup is remarkably straightforward, and leaves game options open. This is a versatile setup. Just link any gun to any vest by shooting it after turning it on. Then select the team. The guns come in 4 colors: red, blue, green, and orange, but any gun can be paired with any vest, and then the color/team can be selected so that the bright, colorful lights display the team color, which doesn’t have to reflect the painted color of the gun/vest. Any gun can select any of 4 team colors, and the lights on the gun/vest are predominantly the selected color. For example, the red painted gun can be paired with the green vest, and both units can be set to the blue team, and will show blue lights that are more prominent than the paint color. You will know which team you’re on, especially in the dark. There is a flashlight feature on each gun, but the flashlight is always green; it does not change colors depending on the team. But that doesn’t trick people into thinking the player is on the green team because the other lights are so brilliant. I bought 6 sets of 4, and with the setup, I can have two teams of 12 or 4 teams of 6. I could even set up a “Hunter” game where 1 or a small number of people are being hunted by the rest. Each gun/vest set can be assigned up to 99 lives, and different people could have different numbers of lives in the same game. The default number of lives is 15. Once a player loses their last life, the lights on their set will go dark and the gun will have to be paired to the vest again before starting a new game. Everything else works as claimed in the product description. This is a well designed item, and I can’t wait to play with the kids! This is going to be something we enjoy for a long time!

We bought 2 sets of this for my son and his friends. Thinking it might not survive the aggressive play. The Hero Squad 2.0 has surpassed what I thought about home laser tag equipment and to be honest by the end of the month, I believe I will purchase more sets of this because now all the kids want to come over and play. The guns are easy to pair with the vest. The guns have color on them but that does not necessarily mean that they are on that color team. The real team color will actually light up throughout the gun and vest. We did have a minor charging issue where it acted as if it wouldn't charge while on the dock. We disconnected it all even from the wall, played with the unit and when we put it back on the charger it connected without issue. One feature I enjoyed is that there are 4 different kinds of firing mode each with different strength levels. For instance, if you use pistol mode, its accurate within 30-40 feet, and it only takes one life away and you can fire quickly. But in AR mode the rounds are further apart, its more accurate at longer distances and it takes two lives away. Then my favorite is what I call "sniper mode" where you can shoot up to 100-130 feet accurately, it takes 3 lives away at contact, but there is a longer reload time. Hero Squad 2.0 has been fun for all ages. My goal is to add to the two sets we have, and play capture the flag with two teams of 8. The parents occasionally will join the "fight" in disbelief of how good the connectivity is. And they are usuall impressed. My little kids (ages 3-6) will run throughout the house playing and by the end of the day they have tired themselves out. One thing I wish this offered is an app to see who's in and who is out of the round. But no company offers that at this point. In silent mode a team can lose all their lives, turn the system off and restart it and no one would know that they were "out."

What a fun game! We bought two sets for our son and our family/friends who come to visit for an outdoor, at home experience. They came pre-charged and have a 30 min play time. We absolutely love that the laser gun and target are all recharged thru a plug in, designated charging depot. Easy plug in and walk away to re-charge. At first, 30 mins didn’t seem like enough play time, but we were mistaken! If you are actively running, you’re exhausted by the time your laser life runs out. You can go from 15 hearts (lives) to 100, to extend the game. The four laser gun options are so much fun, my favorite is the space laser that has the sound to match. We love the infrared laser scope light and the option to turn off or mute the lights for 30 seconds to hide from the teenagers for a sneak attack. It does shoot and hit the target at a very far range! We were pleasantly surprised at its accuracy. Our family did not tire from playing this, we played twice a day! It’s so much better at night and the best thing is it’s soooo much less expensive, than going to a laser tag place (once you pay the initial cost of the set). You can add more laser sets to these sets for a bigger team and the skies the limit with outdoor natural obstacles to make your experience even better and cost effective. No need to have blow up obstacles when you have trees for cover. You can even hang an unused target on a tree or whatever, if you have limited people playing to make it a contest between teams and add to the fun. The only thing I wish was different would be a back target and multiple clip on targets to the apparatus. You can only hit the target from the front, so you can literally walk backwards so your foe doesn’t hit the target, which is kinda cheating. So don’t be a cheat and walk backwards or cover your chest. We did strap on our extra set to our back when it was only four of us, which totally upped the level of difficulty, however when we have a larger group we don’t have enough sets to do that. If the company created smaller, puck like clip on targets that we could add on our sides and backs, it would add to the fun and would be more cost effective, vs buying more sets. Overall it’s a 5 star at home game.

These have been fun and seem to work fairly accurately. My kids don't necessarily agree with me, but it's just 'cause their aim sucks. We've played outside in the sun with no issue, haven't played inside in close quarters much though. My main complaint is that they're a bit finicky to charge as the guns easily lose connectivity while charging.

Great, kids have spent hours playing. Battery lasts a long time. Works both day and night outside.

Ok so far, these things have been awsome. Kids and I have used them approximately 5 times, with no troubles. Plenty of users mention the annoyance with having to reset after games are over. Yes thats a bit of a pain, but come on. Teach your spoiled rotten little brats how to do it themselves. My 4 yr old can do it by herself. The charging stations are absolutely fantastic. Battery life is surprisingly long. If I could make any suggestions to the game developers, it'd be to come out with some accessories. Some add on lasers would be awsome. These things need to be aimed in order to score a hit. A 4 yr old doesn't have the greatest aim. Another accessory that would be awsome would be a revive box that could be kept at each teams spawn point. Something you could shoot to get your lives back. It'd take this game from unorganized chaos, to pure organized fun. Either way though, these things are well worth the purchase.

Ça fait 2 ans que je les ai acheté. Les enfants (7 et 10 ans) jouent régulièrement avec. Solide, fun, très bonne qualité globalement. On a joué en extérieur et en intérieur. On peut enlever le son... Car au bout d'un moment pour les parents ca devient assourdissant. Pour avoir régulièrement jouer avec les enfants je dirais que le seul point négatif est qu'il est possible de toucher quelqu'un non directement genre avec un reflet dans une vitre, une surface miroir ou parfois bêtement un mur mais bon c'est vraiment pas quelque chose d'embettant et ça n'arrive pas souvent. On a acheté ça parce-que les Nerfs, on trouve que les projectiles vont trop vites et c'est un peu dangereux. Ici, aucun problème. La boîte est bien foutu et on peut facilement y re-ranger tout le stock si on fait une pause pendant quelques semaines. Les enfants font aussi des jeux de rôle avec ça comme si ils étaient dans Star Wars et qu'ils visitaient des lieux avec des ennemis sur qui tirer.

The whole unit is very easy to charge up and last a long time. My son loves playing when it is dark in the house, sneaking around. We have found that the other gun modes do seem a bit over powered, and have also learn to use the infra-red bounce effect to shoot around corners. We had some kids over and they had a great time.
