These are seriously the best shaped cooking tools I have ever used. And I have bought several. But they were always wrongly angled, or shaped and u would know they don't work or it's awkward or not enjoyable to use them after 1 use. Such as they don't really scoop up food cos the angle is wrong, or there's no way to get to a corner of the pan, or the thing is too short. These ones? They are a JOY to use. Omg. I don't know how they can be so perfect. They make me feel like I'm a chef in the kitchen. They make the cooking experience elevated. I don't know how else to put it. But they have been a joy to use. I only ordered them cos I bought the round wok of the same brand and wanted to gift the whole set as a gift to my husband. However after buying and using this spatula and ladle set, I'm just blown away.

The photo made it look like there were two spatulas. The one that arrived is exactly as well crafted as it says. The handle is nice and long, so I'm not roasting my hand over a hot wok.

Wow! This is the best wok spatula that I have ever used. Its design and functionality are superb. Even though it is quite long (41 cm or 16 and 1/18 inches), it properly fits the curvature of my 12-inch cast iron wok. It is quite large, so it has noticeable weight, but I like the weight. I also like the natural beauty of the raw carbon-steel or raw iron construction. Wash it and dry it immediately after use, and (occasionally) smear it with a very thin coating of any cooking oil. Keep it out of the dishwasher.

Nice stout spatula, seems like it'll last a good long while! Some things Im not quite sure about...1. It has a blue hue to it. Hard to see in photo but I wanted a black metal spatula. Maybe itll change with use?? 2. The leading edge of the spatula is slightly concave meaning the outer corners scrape but the center doesn't. 3. The handle part you hold on to is kinda short for bigger hands.

These wok tools perform beautifully. The size and balance is just right and they seem indestructible. The carbon steel is prone to rust so requires some basic care, much like a cast iron frying pan or wok. I bought my set via Amazon's discounted "new and used" option and got them for $15 less than the official price. They were classified as "used, acceptable with defects larger than 1" but the pair I received was perfect as far as I could tell. I think some customers just aren't expecting a hand forged, hand made product with tool marks and other signs of traditional manufacturing so they return them as defective. Anyway, I expect I'll be enjoying these for the rest of my life so even at still expensive discounted price, they are a relative bargain.

I intend to change this review if anyone teaches me why this is “ok”, but I used them normally, washed and dried them normally, checked them for “authenticity”… and find that there absolutely IS a blue coating on these, that is absolutely flaking off. See images. If this is expected: The company can absolutely affort to provide curing instructions with each shipment in order to prevent this obvious problem. - I will repair them on my own because I think the other commenters may trach me how… but this was less than I expect from the top of the top.

Brilliant single piece wok shovel. It is so sturdy and light with a lovely wide and curved edge to the shovel head perfect for any wok task. Love it.

What a great buy - use it beyond my wok - careful as it will scratch pans but perfect fir the wok
