Conair Dual Voltage Hair Dryer, Compact Folding Handle Design, 1600W

This is a great hairdryer for performance and a perfect size for travel. The folding hand makes it easy to tuck into a suitcase. I have thick hair and love the power of this dryer. Conair has been my preferred brand over the years. This recent purchase was to replace the same dryer which finally gave out after 5 good years of performance. I highly recommend.

This is a nice and compact hair dryer for having in my gym bag for drying my hair after a shower. I also use it at home, as I can’t lift a full-sized heavy one, given that I have torn tendons in my rotator cuffs on both sides. It does a great job of drying my hair quickly. I’m so happy I made this purchase.

My reason for buying a compact travel hair dryer was two-fold. First, I wanted a compact, lightweight hair dryer for travel that was a bit more energy efficient than my full-size, professional hair dryer and hopefully also emitted a bit less noise. Second, I needed a small dryer that had a low setting I could use to dry watercolor paintings without moving my paint around, and that was small enough to hang from the side of my illustration desk without taking up much space. Hair dryers are actually fairly common tools in a watercolor artist's studio and, for me, it's an essential tool to have in my studio. This little hair dryer looked like it would fit my dual-purpose needs well and the price was good, so I bought it. Shipping of the unit was fast via two-day shipping from Amazon Prime. I decided to forgo using my full-size hair dryer this morning so that I could try this dryer out properly. A few things I noticed right away: - It's a dual voltage model and was already set to 120 volts out of the box. - It is super light weight with a compact build and handle that is easy to grip. It actually fits my small hands better than my full-size dryer and is more comfortable to use. Performance: - On the high setting, this little dryer puts out a surprising amount of air. While it's not quite as powerful as my full-size dryer, it dried my hair nearly as fast. For a 1600-watt unit (compared to the 1875-watt power of my full-size dryer) this little thing really exceeded my expectations. - On the low setting, this unit puts out just enough air flow to style damp hair and do it reasonably quietly. The air put out at this setting is warm, rather than hot, which I found perfect. And, it's exactly what I was hoping for when it comes to drying my watercolor paintings. For anyone who might be considering this unit for use in their art studio, IMHO, this one is perfect. Other: Given that this is a light-weight, compact model, it doesn't feel exceptionally durable, but I think it will hold up fine for anything other than heavy use, which really isn't what a compact unit is meant for anyway. I think this little gem will suit my needs nicely. Should I run into any issues with either performance or durability that seems unreasonable, I will update this review accordingly.

I have ordered this hair dryer multiple times. I love the small size and the ease of tossing it into my gym bag. It is slightly noisy, but for the size and price, it is a great item. It has just enough power to quickly dry my hair. The blue color is appropriate for any user. I have a small hand so the dryer was very easy to grip. The heat setting choices were useful and it lasts a long time. I like this dryer for travel and the gym.

Good small lightweight hair dryer, good for travelling or daily use. It doesn't have the cooling ability but it's good enough, pretty powerful, might be a bit loud but it's fine

This little feller is amazingly powerful! I have long, super-thick hair that takes forever to dry, and I use a Dyson blow dryer at home which does the job, but is super bulky. I was skeptical that something this small would be effective, but it really is! It's small enough that you don't even really need to fold it up, so I can't speak to that feature -- even unfolded, it's small enough to fit in my carry-on suitcase with all my other crap with no problem. I've been using it for about 8-9 months, and so far it hasn't failed me! The only minor bummer is, it gets really hot after using it for a while, and then it won't turn back on again until the motor cools down. At first I thought the motor had burned out, but then I realized what was going on -- so if you have a lot of hair, like I do, you have to dry it all in one continuous session without taking any breaks. Overall this is an excellent blow dryer for the size and price, and I will buy another one when this one finally fails.

I like this so much that I use one daily and keep one packed in my suitcase for travel. Added bonus is that it's dual voltage and worked on my vacation in Italy. It's small (folds up) and light for easy packing but strong enough to get the job done on my chin length curly hair. Has a loop on the cord for easy hanging on hook in my closet.

Lots of power in a lightweight, compact size. 2 heat settings to chose from with the high setting as strong as blow dryers of a much larger size and with less noise. Folds in half and easily fits in your luggage.

Excelente potencia, rápido secado. Muy practica y buen tamaño para llevar. Me hubiera gustado que incluyera una tercera temperatura media (no tan caliente), pero no me arrepiento de la compra.

Eu gosto muito da marca conair! São os melhores secadores que já usei na vida! Este é o meu segundo secador, porém este é menor, dobrável e ótimo para carregar na bolsa/mala. Mesmo sendo pequeno, o aparelho é potente no 220v. É bivolt, e é fácil de trocar a chavinha. Só achei ruim que não vem com difusor.

Para ser secadora de viaje y pequeña es buenísima! Es fácil de empacar, ligera, practica, funciona muy bien, tiene dos velocidades y para ser pequeña realmente es potente y se puede hacer el secado y modelado perfectamente
