Sanniti Crushed Italian Calabrian Chili Peppers, 10 ounce

I'll be the first to admit it - I spend a little too much time watching Food Network. Seems like in the past few years practically everyone has started using Calabrian chiles in their dishes for a little pop of heat, and as a foodie, I wanted to see what the big deal was, and at the time these were just not available locally. My wife and I started using these in various dishes, replacing more conventional sources of heat, with great success. These chiles are spicy, but not ridiculously hot. Also, a bit of this mixed into mayonnaise creates an entirely new experience on sandwiches or burgers. Overall, 10/10 - will 100% buy these again.

First off I’m very grateful that the company that sent this wrapped it so well so that it wouldn’t break, because it is glass. They did such a good job wrapping it. This stuff is so delicious. I can eat this every day! Buy it. You definitely won’t regret it.

This is rich from the oil and hot. I have eaten it a number of ways, including directly on fettuccine noodles. It has a nice chewy texture. It's probably too hot for most people to eat straight, but it mixes well with red sauce.

Very tasty

What I did not like about this product was the amount of peels that were in the crushed mixture. It would have been better if the chile peppers could have been roasted and de-peeled before crushing.
