Good to reduce rough texture on skin
The texture, smell, potency of the lotion is amazing. I used it inconsistently at first, and then it sat on my dresser at home.Several weeks later, I decided to take it with me to work to sit on my desk to use on my arms everyday to get a routine down and wow it is a great lotion! I noticed a difference when taking a shower and noticed how easy it was to wash my arms because they were so slick. Although I wish it came in a bigger size bottle with a moderate price, I have to use it only on my arms so that I don't use it too fast. If only I could do my whole body everyday, that would be amazing, but I can't afford three bottles a month lol!I have the Porcelain Doll lotion by this brand and I just ordered another bottle of this great lotion. I do like to use it on my face also to eventually reduce pore size. As far as my Keratosis Pilaris (chicken skin/small red bumps), it reduces the sand paper feel of my arms, but I haven't seen a dramatic difference in reduction of appearance just yet.But remember, patience is key with this kind of lotion. You have to allow your body to work with the product in time. I'm very hopeful that my Keratosis Pilaris will reduce in appearance with time. I've tried MANY lotions, and ASDM has pretty good products. I just wish I had their lotions on tap lol!Give it a try!*I was not offered any free or discounted products for a review, this is 100% honest*

RESULTS after one month of use: I'M MORE EVEN-TONED & SOFTER :-)
The lotion feels like most lotions, not thick or oily but not light. I like the texture and I like the density of the lotion. This is a body lotion not a face lotion unless you have hard dry skin. I have acne prone combo skin I wouldn't try it on my face at all. I.'ve only been using it for a few days but right off the back I DO NOT LIKE THE SMELL. It has a faint lemon smell, I'll say 10% lemon, but 90% of the smell is not pleasant at all. I can't even describe the smell. The smell isn't disgusting, it's just not good, and it can linger in the air. I did add some of my Bath and Body Works body oil; the cocoshea honey Moisturizing Body Oil into the bottle and shook it as hard as I could, it's a sweet smell that I really like but lavender oil could to help subside the smell as well and it good for your body. The first time I used it I put it on right after I showered in my bedroom which was a big mistake, because like I said it lingers. I had to open my window in 30 degree weather to air out. So tonight instead of putting the lotion on in my bedroom I put it on in the bathroom right after I showered, I ran the cold water and I sprayed some Lysol disinfectant All Purpose Cleaner while the water ran. I waited a few to let the lotion dry(I put in all over my body) before opening the bathroom door and not so much lingering, so yeah! I did spray some of the Body works oil on the body after the lotion dried. I put my body oils in a spray bottle for a even coverage and less mess. I'm also using a dry brush before showering to get that one two punch.I will follow up on my opinion after using a while longer. Hope this help! I do feel a little softer especially on my legs.**ONE MONTH LATER UPDATE: It still don't like the smell but it less harsh or maybe I just got use to it. I still only put it on while in the bathroom and I let it absorb into skin for 2-5 minutes before put on my clothes. And yes I still spray a little Lysol or Febreeze to kill the smell afterwards. NOW THE RESULTS ARE GREAT!!! I mainly use the lotion from my stomach (I have stretch marks from having a baby) down and my is Softer, Smoother, and the discoloration from hyperpigmentation, dark spots and misc dark areas have really improved. My upper arms and chest area is a lil too sensitive for the lotions. I've seen more results in the last 4 weeks with this lotion, than the last 3-4 years of using shea butter, coco butter and over the counter 2% hydroquionne on my legs. My old scars/dark spots and all those new misc hyperpigmentation that came out of no where for no good reason have really gotten much lighter and even-toned. It's good on elbows too. I don't use it on my face, I'm using Retin-A right now and think that would be too much for me. But I would def recommend this product for people like me with issues of hyperpigmentation and misc dark spots/ scars old or new. TWO THUMPS UP. I will buy it again. Hope this helps, I know the frustration. Don't forget to use a scrub body wash too!

Works pretty well
So fa, I like this product. It has hard little pieces in it- not plastic pieces, I think it is part of the product. Maybe? Anyway, I am using it for the chicken skin (kp) on my arms and upper legs. It seems to be working. I normally use “ AmLactin”. I wanted to try something different as that is expensive. I think they work very similarly, but this product doesn’t smell quite as strongly as AmLactin. I do think this is thinner in consistency, which I worry about how long it lasts. So far so good.

I regret buying this overpriced lotion. Where's the AHA?
Very disappointed. I had been meaning to try this lotion for quite a long time because I was ready for a stronger glycolic acid treatment, and 30% sounded great. I am disappointed that this "medical strength" (as ASDM still markets it on their eBay listings) glycolic lotion is now only 15%. I decided to give it a try it anyway because 15% is still stronger than what I had been using (10%).1. It is VERY, VERY OILY. 15 minutes after applying, there is still an oily film. Not silky -- oily. GROSS. This is not an advanced formulation for good absorption. Might as well use straight oil or cocoa butter. This alone makes it unusable for me.2. I like lemongrass scent, but I don't want to smell it forever. It's very strong in this product and takes a long time to fade. The unabsorbed oil will surely get on my clothing and then that will smell like lemongrass until I wash or dry clean it.3. I have used a number of AHA/glycolic acid products so I expect a slight sting or at least a tingle. This product has ZERO sting or tingle, so I'm questioning whether there's actually any AHA in there at all.4. Possibly it isn't stinging if it's buffered AHA. If buffered, that would make it better at drawing in moisture, but very subtle as an exfoliant. I prefer more aggressive exfoliation vs moisturizing. Good moisturizing lotions are very inexpensive; $30+ is way too expensive for an ordinary moisturizing lotion. Furthermore, if it is buffered, the increased humectant properties would make the excessive oil content unncessary.Total waste of $31 plus tax.

Great Results on Rough Skin
This product is fantastic! I absolutely will be repurchasing this. It has totally smoothed out the skin on my hips and thighs, where I had tiny bumps that may have been minor keratosis pilaris (KP). I've been using it almost daily for the past month and my skin has never felt this soft and smooth! I've gone through about a third of the bottle with daily use on just my thighs, hips and behind. This is a holy grail item for me. It also does a good job of softening skin on the feet. This is also one of the better-priced options for glycolic acid lotion for Canadian buyers (no import fees or dollar conversion).

Overpriced, greasy, not strong enough for me
I have been using a DIY lactic acid lotion for some time and wanted to move onto a glycolic acid lotion.I gave this a try and I haven't seen any noticeable changes/improvements in my skin. I don't even feel it so I'm not sure if it's working. I will finish the bottle but I don't think I'll be ordering it again. I also think it's over priced. It also goes applies greasy until your skin absorbs it. I read the reviews before I bought this and many people raved about the smell but it took me a while to get used to it. To me it smells like rotten pineapple. But the best before date on the bottle is 2017/2018 I believe.I will probably try my hand at making my own glycolic acid lotion.

LOVE this stuff
I have always used NeoStrata, but this stuff really rocks. I suffer from KP on my legs and during winter months I got alligator skin. After 3 days of using this with a scrub, my skin feels smooth and silky. I use it in the mornings for both body and face. LOVE this stuff.

Wonderful product.
I have been using Neostrata body moisturizer for many years. This product is less expensive and smells much better. I'm very happy! Please note that this is a strong AHA, so those with sensitive skin may want to cut it with another non-AHA moisturizer.
