We’ve used this for a long time across multiple guys in the house, and it’s the one product that consistently delivers: texture + lift + that “more hair” effect without feeling gross. Who it works for in my house: Adult man with thinning hair (air dry): This adds root lift and makes hair look thicker even when he just sprays and lets it air dry. It helps hair not lie flat against the scalp. Teen trend hair (blow dryer + diffuser): This is the secret weapon for the “broccoli / ice-cream cone” fluffy look. With a diffuser it gives maximum poof/fluff, texture, and separation. How we use it (what actually works): Spray on damp hair, focusing on roots + mid-lengths (don’t soak it). Adult: air dries and it still gives noticeable volume/texture. Teen: uses a hair dryer + diffuser and it goes to full “glorious man hair” mode. A little goes a long way. If you overdo it, it can feel too gritty (it’s a sea salt texture product). Feel + finish: Not sticky, not greasy. Matte, textured finish with a bit of grit (on purpose). Smells great (clean/aquatic) and doesn’t smell “product-y” all day. Real talk: It’s pricey, but it outperforms the cheaper brands we’ve tried. We always come back to Bumble and bumble, and it’s total household pandemonium if we run out. Bottom line: If you want volume and texture for fine/flat hair or that teen fluffy look, this one delivers.

Best styling product I’ve ever found, I’ve been searching for 50 years. I’ve always had a great head of hair and have had hair style under the sun. I’ve always tended for “big hair” mostly because I’m a 70’s girl. My hair is thick and course, and I typically use my Dyson round brush to style. By the middle of the day it’s gone flat and gets totally disheveled in bed at night. With this Surf Spray I can go several days with not even having to do any touch up. It’s perfect in the mornings too. Highly recommend it.

Thought it would be bigger. The smell is okay. Wish it was more musky but overall it gets the job done. It's lightweight, sometimes it makes my head itch. Does not leave your hair oily.

My teen son has used this for years and we have tried other cheaper products but nothing compares to Bumble and Bumble. It gives just enough texture and hold without it looking or feeling like product is in his hair. No greasy look that smells good. My son has a lot of thick hair that he styles like a lot of boys - the forward fluff :) and this product actually makes it look good.

A little pricey, and I wish it came in a larger bottle. But it’s great for mornings when I just don’t feel like drying my hair and still want it to look like I put some effort into getting ready.

I’m surprised by the reviews. For the price, I feel this did very little for my hair and certainly not all it was hyped up to do. I’ve used cheaper sea salt sprays with much better results.

I bought this spray to give me hair some texture. It did a nice job, but I couldn't get over the perfume. The scent is really strong and lasts all day. I couldn't wait to get home and wash it out of my hair.

Certes le flacon est petit mais 3 pschitts sur mes cheveux mi- longs est suffisant. Efficace car effectivement mes cheveux sont ondulés. Légère odeur. Ne graisse pas et ne fait pas de noeuds. Aucune pellicule blanche non plus. Je l’utilise sur cheveux secs comme sur cheveux humides
