I bought this to replace an older less powerful sensor light. Light is brighter. (but not much) control switch is great as it is very simple and just works, none of the usual repeated button presses and look to see what colour the sensor lights up to inform you of which mode it is in! However the flexible mounting strip is a bit rubbish, I modified mine to work on my plasterboard ceiling. The one it replaced was better as that one had a metal plate with magnets built-in which you simply screwed into the ceiling.

Imagine a dark winter night.I open my front door and the hallway is in darkness. I cannot see to change my shoes, and the light for the hallway is further down the hallway where I would have to walk on the carpet to get to it. So this light is now just inside my front door held by the magnetic strip supplied. As soon as I enter the hallway the light comes on and gives me ample light to change my shoes. It stays on as long as there is movement so then I can switch on the hallway light wearing my slippers.

Claims to have better battery life than others, but in practice I have to charge it weekly, and it's not active most of the time.

Easy to fit, motion sensor works fineBUT !! Advertised as 4-10 hours life on a full charge, we ordered two of these and one only works for 1 1/2 hours and the other for less than 3 hoursNot viable as a source of lighting for anything other than decorative purposes for a short period of time

Delivered in a timely Manor.Not the securist of packaging. But delivered in good condition .Easy to install. Either by screws or provided metal strip with attached sticky tape.If using the sticky tape option try in position before taking off the backing of the metal strip.as on touch and it is stuck. No room for manoeuvring.That said it is very secure in.positionIt is a nice bright light. Been insitu for about 6 weeks and have not had to take it down to recharge yet. Very happy with this purchase.Would definitely buy again

I bought one of these back in June 2021 and then forgot to do anything with it. So a couple of weeks ago I tried it in our sliding wardrobe. Was really pleased with both the motion detection and the the fact it came on even in the late afternoon light (the wardrobe is in the darker part of the room ). So I installed it in one side with the idea of purchasing another for the other side.First, I was really shocked to see that the price had gone from £15.35 in Jun 21 to £26 now, but then more importantly the unit didn’t work like the first one. The auto function didn’t work unless the light was pitch black and even then the motion detection was intermittent. Tried swapping the lights over to see if the conditions differed either side. The original one worked in both locations, the new one in neither.Returned this one and was very promptly issued a refund (thank you Amazon), thinking it may be a faulty unit. Ordered another only to find the unit I received behaved exactly the same.This one will also be going back.Both units stated that the light level is <10 but the current models seem only to work at levels much lower than this.Some feedback from the supplier to this review would be welcomed.

The USB charging lead supplied with the light was faulty. Fortunately I was able to charge the light using a lead from a similar device I already had . The light itself is excellent and illuminates my garage satisfactorily.
