Compatible with my Laguna 65 Clay
Used Laguna 65 clay to make some large pieces but worried about crazing (common problem with this clay- Low COE). I heard this was a good glaze to use and bought it to use. Was in a time crunch so I just applied three coats directly and fired to Cone 6. Came out beautifully, super shiny with no imperfections or problems. I didn't notice any running on the sides or onto the bottom. Will definitely keep buying to use on other pieces. Haven't tried it with under glazed pieces yet.

Must have zinc free glaze to keep underglaze images sharp
Use this over underglaze designs and no more fads, blurs or smears. A must have in your glaze lineup. 1-2 coats applied by brush provides an easy application of the colorless clear finish with durability for a very reasonable price

Perfect Clear Glaze – Smooth, Reliable, and Consistent!
I absolutely love this glaze! It never disappoints. I originally purchased it when the clear glaze at my studio started coming out cloudy and clumpy, and I haven’t looked back since. This Amaco Zinc-Free Clear glaze delivers a beautifully smooth, transparent finish every time, enhancing the colors underneath without any haze or unwanted texture. It applies evenly, fires beautifully at high temperatures, and doesn’t yellow or distort details. Whether I’m using it on intricate designs or larger pieces, the results are always consistent and professional-looking. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality clear glaze, I highly recommend this one!

The best
The best clear glaze for over underglaze. Thin coats are best and it doesn’t yellow when fired.

3 coats is best
Never a problem. Just be sure to paint until it’s opaque. Best results with 3 coats.

BEST CLEAR GLAZE!
Best clear glaze I have found! I make colored clay and use underglaze and slip, but every clear I tried became cloudy or crawled etc. I just pulled my first pieces out of the kiln with this glaze and they are fantastic! I diluted it to be able to dip them - purchase Amaco Suspendaid and follow the directions on that bottle to get the correct viscosity. Make sure your pieces are in the hottest part of the kiln or it can become mat instead of glossy.
