David Busch’s Sony Alpha a77 II/ILCA-77M2 Guide to Digital Photography (The David Busch Camera Guide Series)

David Busch simply writes the best guide books out there. I bought his book for my first good camera (a Sony SLT A-33) and my second (a Sony DCS RX 100MII) and I found his books to be well organized, well-written and very easy to understand. I got a little impatient waiting for his book on the Sony Alpha 77 II) so I "left the reservation" and got someone else's book. All I can say is that I wasted my money. I bought Busch's book the day it came out and all's right with the world again. If you want an intelligently written, well-organized guide book, look no further.

I've been an amateur photographer for years but David's books always have good explanations and useful tips. It also serves as a good quick reference for features and methods I don't often use

Since this is my first DSLR camera, I was a bit overwhelmed at first with all the features this type of camera has, but thankfully I purchased this guide when I bought the camera. This guide has greatly helped me understand the powerful features of the a77 II. He explains all the functions and goes in depth in certain topics that help me, just starting out, to get a hold of the basics and be ready to experiment to take my skills to the next level. This guide helps me get full use of the camera I paid for.

David Busch has written many, many books on cameras and these books turn out to be the camera manual you keep with you. He takes you through all of the camera settings and options, what the defaults are, but perhaps more important, the way he sets his camera for a wide variety of shooting conditions and why. His explanations of settings and their effect sI actually bought two copies, one soft-bound for my library and the other a Kindle edition I can display on my phone. .

I have used several of David Busch's books in the past to increase my knowledge of photography. I found them to be excellent. I waited till his book on my current camera came out before I invested in other authors books. I am glad that I waited. His Sony Alpha a77 II/ILCA-77M2 book is very simply written, and easy to understand. I recommend it to anyone who owns this model Sony camera.

Good for folks who need to know about the buttons & features, but as a bird/wildlife shooter, there are a lot of things i learned from doing (1 year with the a77ii) that are not even in this book. A lot of the information you need are either already on some forum, Youtube, or Sony's support site. I'm selling my copy.

I have the Sony A77 and the A77ii. I have used both versions of this book to better understand the power of camera pointing towards the vista presented. This version was especially good at explaining the esoteric details the new Focus. (The biggest difference between these to generations of camera) Although, I highly recommend this book for the rest of he content is extremely detailed on using, improving your own use, of this great camera.

A very informative book just I needed. Had the camera beside me tried& done all David was saying. I have a much better understanding of photography David Bausch has other books on other cameras. If they’re like this you’ll do well

Für Sony A77m2 gibt es zwei Bücher, - Buchs'A77IIm2 (englisch) und Sony A77II von Margit Roth (deutsch). Beide sehr gut, beide verstehbar. Am besten beide kaufen, diese Bücher sich mehr ergänzen als sich ersätzen. M.Z.

This book is fantastic it opens up your understanding and helps you find things hidden from you in the silly small instruction booklet that comes with your camera. I suggest every body gets these books for your camera of choice. My camera an a77mk2 Sony is now my fun and is so much easier to use just by reading this book. I am an ordinary guy who takes pictures of anything but it makes a little money for my charity of choice CRUK.THANK YOU WORTH EVERY PENNY.
