Loctite 29031 290 Green Wicking Grade Threadlockers, 1.69 oz., 50 mL

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Working with Expresso machines ...this is the stuff you need!

If you've been working on machines for many years as I have you're already familiar with Loctite products. This product is Loctite Green, formerly called Wick N Lock. You can add it to an assembled item and it wicks into the threads. Provides a meaningful level of locking function but still able to disassemble with normal hand tools. This size bottle provides enough liquid to last me for years in my shop at a better price per ounce than the smaller units.

Product did what we needed it to do. As described.

I saw an internet tip to quiet down old transformers - you apply this green Loctite across the center plates - and it really works. I cleaned off any dust with some canned air, applied a bunch of Loctite across the top, until it started dripping through the bottom, and waited. In just a few minutes, the buzzing noise just went away. I probably didn't need the big bottle, since it didn't take more than 8-10 drops, but I'm sure it'll come in handy for nuts and bolts, too.

Loc-tite, need I say any more?

Great price. When you need it, you need it.

Nothings fallen off yet. It’s pretty thin so it gets in the crevices well but also can make a mess.
