FUROSHIKI- Japanese Traditional Wrapping (SAKURA-Black)

I use this for my bento lunches! Its a very nice material that stands up to the wear and tear of daily lunch. You can leave it in the fridge and even throw it in the washer when it needs to be cleaned. The material holds up wonderfully!

I used this beautiful material to wrap my granddaughter's wedding gift. She will be moving to Japan after she gets married and I know she will love to be able use this cloth again.

Stumbled across Furoshiki quite by accident but I love it! Fabric is vibrant and sturdy. I use it to wrap and carry my bento box. I work in an office where the lunch areas are not wiped down, and not many supplies are available to do so. So the fabric doubles as a table cloth for protection from questionable eating surfaces. Some items like to leak, no matter how leak proof your box may be like Kalamata olives so it protects my other items in my backpack from leaks. When I get home the fabric goes in the wash. I picked up several of these lovely cloths on Amazon so I have enough for a week. Nothing more cheerful than to pick up your lovely packaged lunch during the gray winter days of the Midwest.

Picture does not do it justice. The fabric is thick enough for it to not be see through and yet not stiff. The subtle gold sparkle was an unexpected feature. Bought it for wrapping lunch box and it fits nicely.Love it.

I was skeptical at first about this product. However, when it arrived, I was shocked. The quality is phenomenal. It's very sturdy fabric and the details are beautiful. Definitely recommend buying!

This is a very pretty cloth. The fabric is a nice weight and a linen-like texture. It is printed on one side only. The print is clear and the metallic detailing gives it a nice finishing touch. Using Google translate on the label clued us in that it was 100% cotton and that when ironing you should use a press cloth. The size is almost square 20 x 20.

This cloth is gorgeous! I love the details on the flowers and feel it looks beautiful even folded or tied up. The smaller details on the design mean this cloth is very versatile and can be used in quite a few ways, outside of just wrapping lunch. You can carry other things, tie it in your hair, attach it to your bag, use it on a table as decoration, there are many uses. I'm just a fan!

I bought this to wrap my bento box in and I am very pleased with my purchase. The fabric can be hand washed or washed with the delicates. It's not a thick fabric but it sure is strong and I like my handle it's the only one I know how to fold.
