Slate Green is not a bright green but otherwise love it!
The slate green color is NOT what is pictured in the Amazon description. The slate green product looks more like a tan/light olive color. I love Pacsafe products and this backpack easily accommodated my 15" laptop. This is a relatively thin backpack so if you're packing more than one electronic device (e.g. iPad) with a power cord, you might not have a lot of room for much else. The bottle holders on each side are very generous and expand to accommodate many different sizes. The safety features are better than the pacsafe backpack we bought in 2011. I would highly recommend this backpack just don't rely on the picture for the color.
